Ok, definitely spoilers to chain of gold, but also probably an unpopular opinion.

I, like most people, really enjoyed the Whisper Room. It was a great moment. But I cannot help but feel weird about the situation. I think it was selfish of James to kiss Cordelia like that. That kiss was no basic exploratory kiss like I genuinely believe they were well on their way to sealing the deal. Which would have been great, if James knew how he felt. For now he’s still like up in the air. I feel like we as a reader can feel pretty confident about how he feels for her, but he doesn’t know. And yes, I know that Cordelia was in that room too and made that decision to do what they did along with James, but there’s also a “heat of the moment” aspect to this. She wanted it bad enough that she definitely wasn’t thinking about his evolving feelings, but I feel like later she may regret it. At the very least, I think that moment will serve as a stepping stone to the heartbreak she will eventually feel. I love Jamie, I don’t think he’s aware about the way he might be confusing her. Regardless, it’s still happening. Although, he may not be aware of how she feels for him. In fact I’m almost certain he doesn’t know. I know this must be an unpopular opinion. Like I said, the whisper room was awesome. I truly believe they’re going to end up together, but I also truly believe that along the way they’re both going to get hurt a lot and I don’t think it was fair for James to kiss her like that.
Seeing @cassandraclare today was so awesome! I loved hearing about Chain of Gold!! She was so cool and so funny and wore the absolute cutest shoes. Honestly her fashion sense is just impeccable.
Some of you have never tried to raise your best friend’s sister from the dead and realized along the way that it was a terrible idea but couldn’t stop because you were falling hopelessly in love with said best friend and admitted your feelings to them when you finally tried to stop the necromancy but got ignored so chose to leave your best friend without saying goodbye and it shows

The difference between Feysand and Rowaelin
Feysand:
Rowaelin:
Start of the book, two characters: *hate each other*
End of the book, same two characters: *love each other*

I swear to god Jane Austen has ruined me for all men.
A guy could come up to me and tell me he loves me and I’d say, “Yes, but do you love me ardently? Do I pierce your soul? Would you be able to speak about your love more if you loved me less? Come on dude step up.”
