… Oh. Thank God. Knowing Rohan, he probably gripped poor Hibiki’s hand hard enough to spill some of the piping hot beverage onto his wrist. The mangaka paused, only reaching over and taking the unspilled drink. You can have the other one, Hibiki.
"Of course I want my coffee. Didn’t I say every day? You need to make yourself more distinct from those brats begging for candy. Work on that.”
A scoff, before he opened the door for Hibiki to enter. If he dared. "So do you want to learn anything today, or are you going to go celebrate like a fucking tool? There’s nothing to celebrate on this island, holidays like this are only a distraction. I hope your mind’s not dull enough to fall for it."
Well, Hibiki, he’s not really giving you an option, now is he?
Fortunately for Hibiki, two layers of clothes tend to lessen the burns -- not that he would have reacted much anyway, he's used to worse by now. However, he's not looking forward to cleaning coffee out of a white coat though; maybe he shouldn't wear white around Rohan, it seems to always get ruined one way or another.
Simply ignoring it, he takes a sip of his own coffee as the other speaks, lowering it with an apologetic nod. "Ah...Right, right, sorry. Have you been getting a lot of visitors?"
"I don't plan on celebrating, no. As much as I like sweets, I don't want to walk around making an idiot of myself in front of strangers when I can just buy bags of candy and keep it for myself." Maybe if some of his friends were around he would be more open to it, but that's not the case as of right now. He takes a step in, shuffling out of the way so the other can close the door. "So if you're up for it, learning would be nice!"
He was getting tired of it. The constant cheer, the constant knocking on his door, just so these cretins could beg for candy. He hated this holiday, he hated nearly every aspect of it, and he especially hated that it woke him when he was trying to rest.
Due to the growing irritation that would stem from the mangaka, the next person to knock on Room 200’s door would be greeted by one Rohan Kishibe peering through a barely cracked door, a cold hand reaching out to grip at the stranger’s wrist.
"What do you want…?" A pause, but not long enough to leave room for an answer. This Grinch wouldn’t allow excuses for this shitty behavior…
"Get out."
Unlike his previous visitors, this one isn't due to the holiday -- in fact, had it not been for the festive people around him, Hibiki would have completely forgotten!
Rather than standing in costume with a sack of candy waiting to be filled, the shining one stares up at the artist with a slightly disturbed look, a cup of coffee in each hand.
"...Did you not want any today, sensei?"
It had nearly become part of his daily schedule to bring Rohan some whenever he got a cup for himself, so he never thought much of it -- maybe he has been a bother and had no idea before now.

Damn, he almost felt bad for stepping on this nice kid like he had. As soon as the word sensei reached his ears, it was almost like a switch flipped inside the mangaka, and he would wear a bright grin as he put a hand on Hibiki’s back, already leading him towards the direction of the island’s library.
"Hibiki, I like you!" That is not a good thing. "The library’s over here, we’ll get the first few volumes of Pink Dark Boy checked out for you, right?" Thankfully, it wasn’t long before they were at said library, Rohan still doing well to shove the poor boy inside and towards the manga section. Brows knit, the elder would lean down, scanning the shelves.
"Any self-respecting library should have it," he muttered to himself, before he paused with a small 'ah!'. A proud hum, and he would turn to face the younger, presenting him with Pink Dark Boy, Volume 1. “Hm? What are you doing? Go on, take a look!”
Looks interesting enough -- and there's 'Rohan Kishibe' right on the cover. The younger boy isn't quite sure what to expect of this, but he can't help but feel a bit happy to read something the other seems so proud of.
Here it goes. Opening the book with a mumble of, "Oh thank god, it's in Japanese," mostly directed to himself, his eyes scan over the first few pages and... In his excitement, raises his voice from it's gentle tone, looking up to the elder.
"Holy crap, you drew this?"
"It's beautiful! I love your style!"
Well Rohan, looks like you've got yourself a little fanboy. He's immediately looking back to continue flipping through the pages, careful not to bend them. "How many volumes are out so far?"
Well. Looks like this kid has proven himself. With a smug 'hmph', Rohan would reach down, holding out his hand for the boy to take. Truly incredible how the mangaka’s treatment of the poor kid would sway the moment he said he was interested in his manga.
"What are you doing? Get up, don’t be so lazy." Or not. You were so close. His free hand would be dedicated in closing his sketchbook and shoving it back into the bag strapped over his shoulder. "We’re going to the library." Note how there was literally no option given. Thanks.
"I guess I should introduce myself. My name’s Rohan Kishibe. You’ll do well to remember it, yeah?"
"Ah, sorry!" And he's scrambling to his feet after taking his hand, quick to calm again. His hands drop to his sides for only a moment before motioning for the other to go ahead. "I'm pretty new here and don't quite know my way around, so if you could lead the way there..."
Meeting this Rohan's introduction with a bright smile, he nods again -- "Of course. I'm Hibiki Kuze, It's nice to meet you, Kishibe-sensei!" And he's shoving his hands in his pockets, making a mental note to wash his jacket later as he awaits the artist's directions.
It’s not as fun when they’re willing, is it?
This boy wasn’t crying, squirming, or anything of the sort. In all honesty, it took all of the fun out of his petty act of revenge against the nearly-innocent boy. With a bitter stare, Rohan would slowly, ever so slowly lift his foot, a piercing gaze delivered down to the boy.
How dare he?
"You want to see my drawing?! Haha, tough lu—" Oh. Wait. What’s this? For the first time in months, there was a soul on this island that showed interest into the work that he had literally spilled blood for. What the hell…? ”… You want to know what my manga is about.” He needed to confirm that. Why would this boy, who he bullied so, want to know about his manga…? In all honesty, he was a little bit charmed.
"It’s called Pink Dark Boy. It’s an action manga, not for the weak of heart. … Do you want to read it?"
He's still for a moment, as if checking to make sure it's okay that he move, and then presses himself up to sit, shaking out his hair in a manner similar to a wet dog to rid it of dust gathered from the ground.
Blue eyes raise to settle on the other's face again now, anxiety slowly fading as its replaced with curiosity. Hibiki gives a small nod, silent as he listens to the explanation.
"Yeah, if that's okay with you. I love reading." It seems like forever since he last got to sit down and read something fun, and an action manga feels like a good way to get back into that.

Being stepped on wasn’t this boy’s thing? Well that was just sad, wasn’t it? Having to pay to repair his shoes wasn’t really his thing. Being forced into social interaction with dumbasses wasn’t really his thing. But what his thing was, however, was seeing the look of suffering on the faces of those who had wronged him. That was definitely his thing.
Still, he could at least appreciate how cooperative this little shit was. There was a nervousness, one that would nearly remind him of a certain Koichi Hirose. Oh, he missed Koichi. How dare this kid make him think of something like that? Two wrongs against him, the great Rohan Kishibe, and his foot would be driven harder into the boy’s back, hopefully sending him face-first on the ground again.
Sorry, Hibiki.
"No can do. You see, with the look of anxiousness on your face, created by the fact that my foot is on your back… it would really take away from the feel if I were to remove my foot, right?" Those words would leave him as if that fact were obvious. Come on, Hibiki, get your head in the game.
"I won’t have any bullshit expressions in my manga. You’ll deal with this until I’m done."
The humor seems lost on the other... Nope. Strike that. Definitely lost. This is made clear by the increase in pressure on his back and his face forced back into the dirt. Man, this is not how he wants his day to go -- well, in a sense it's better than what he would experience normally, but still!
"...Alright." A resigned sigh. This is shitty, but he would rather not start anything, especially not when it's literally his first day here. Thoughts of using dragon stream to protect himself cross his mind briefly, but he shakes them away. Even if he could use it, he has a feeling it would just piss off this guy. Man, he's kinda having flashbacks to getting bullied in grade school -- how awful.
"Could I at least see your drawing when your done?" A moment of hesitation. "Or know what your manga is about?"
Caesar Zeppeli was dead. Praise God.
… Was it really that great, though? With that beast eliminated, Rohan couldn’t help but admit that things were more quiet around the dorm, that things were less… horrible… less… awful… fun… no. Stop. He wasn’t fun. He was awful. Ugh.
It’s just the lack of sunlight getting to him. Perfect. A reasonable answer. There’s no way in Hell that he’d ever miss that shitty Italian..
It wasn’t often that he found himself outside during the daylight hours, but here he was, regardless, heading to the market for a quick errand, and also to catch some vitamin D. In the process, however, he had managed to get himself caught up in quite the pickle.
When he stopped to count his change, bags in hand, he felt a stranger bump into his shoe, only to catch the sight of them falling before him. … Ah. Those were his favorite pair of Gucci shoes.
Scuffed.
"Huh. You know. I like that pose you’re in. Hold it." With that, the mangaka would lift his foot, putting it on the stomach - or back - of whoever was unlucky enough to cross his path. Pressing down just enough to barely inflict pain, the mangaka would take out his sketchbook and a pen, dropping his groceries in favor of revenge. "Keep that look on your face, alright? This is great reference."
Having only recently arrived to the island, of course the shining one set off to explore, trying to learn every inch of the place. Having never been to such a place, it was kind of amazing! In fact, Hibiki kind of stopped paying attention to where he's going in favor of keeping an eye on his surroundings.
He only looks back ahead of him just in time to see his shoe catch another's, andddd...there he goes. Arms waving frantically in the air as he tries to catch something (yet failing to realize he could put them in front of him) , falling in what seems like slow motion to himself as the ground below him grows closer and closer --
And he's landed with a quiet 'oof' that escapes his lips on its own, bonking his head in the process of landing. Not horribly, but enough to dizzy him for a moment.
Still, in this confusion, he tries to bring his face to look to the person who met his shoe, face a little hot from the embarrassment that was falling and being too stupid to actually catch himself. He's just gotten here and he probably already looks like a fool; nice going, Hibiki. Honestly.
"Ugh, damn... I'm sorry..."
Palms to the ground, he's pushing himself up now, eager to get out of here and be around people who didn't see him embarrass himself -- but what's this? Worry clear on his face, he looks up at the one responsible for his being where he is. Now he's a whole nother kind of uncomfortable.
"My...My pose? Excuse me?"
And back down as a foot is placed on his back. Oh man, his jacket is gonna get all dirty! -- Wait, that probably shouldn't be what he worries about... Or maybe it is, seeing the other pull out what seems to be a notebook.
A little sketch practice isn't dangerous, right? Or, not physically anyway. Maybe having someone stare at him in this awful pose could damage his self esteem a little.
"... Ah, I see, a reference for drawing? I guess that's okay." Not really, but he'll deal. "But can you take your foot off my back? Being stepped on -- it's not really my thing!"
