"Worry about yourself." a cold glare finally met his, her tone was hostile, honestly, she wasn’t trying to bite, she was just upset. Another rough sigh escaped past out of her throat, this really did blow. And with that, Mitsuki turned on her heel, and fiercely walked to the counter, awaiting Yukine to follow.
He returned her glare, not wanting to let her think that she was intimidating him. "Fine." Yukine let out a haggard sigh and he thought that this little venture was going alright. He watched her leave before gathering his books, making his way to the counter. He placed them on top of it, waiting for the person behind to scan them.
Things die. But they don’t always stay dead. Believe me, I know.
Richelle Mead, Frostbite (via innocent-delirium)
"No! I didn’t! It was horrible, the girl left the boy in the first ten pages! They went through that whole ordeal with her father, and his mother, and all the family members, the town, and she ditched him!" her fists clentched and unloosened at her side, books were very precious to her, and so when they we’re completely horrible trash- atleast in her opinion, then they needed to be burned.
Trying to let out a collecting sigh, Mitsuki’s face was the same color as her optics as she tried to cool down. Shaking her head slightly, now not being able to look up at Yukine. "Argh.. I’m sorry, let’s just check out your book.." stiff. and cold.
He jumped slightly at her outburst. It must have really been a bad book if she lost her cool like that. Maybe if he thought that she wouldn't yell again, he might have said that maybe they get back together in the end of the book, but he wasn't going to risk it.
"It's alright." He replied, gathering his own books and standing up. "You sure there wasn't any other book you wanted to get? How about you start a new series?"
Zo chuckled and gave the boy a hearty pat on the back. This kid seemed game and that was always when the most fun was had.
"Well, I am a very good lock-pick, as it happens.”
The sentence was mumbled without smugness but certainly with a hint of pride. After all, very few talents he possessed were better than those of his closest friends, but lock picking happened to be one of them. His eyes on the watchful stall vendor but his hand rested lightly on the kid’s shoulder, Zo continued.
"I’ll teach you sometime if you like, but not now, we’ll get caught. However, if you’d like to go and distract the stall holder and leave the lock to me…”
He winked conspiratorially, squeezed the boy’s shoulder and lightly nudged him forwards. It had been quite a while since Zo had done something like this, and he was quite looking forward to it.
Oh this was going to be fun. "I can distract him no problem." The blond grinned, already planning what he would do. The nudge sent him forward through the crowd, dodging and weaving to avoid the crowd goers. Part of him couldn't believe what he was getting himself into, if they got caught doing this, the punishment would be unpleasant. The other part simply did not care.
He was nearing the stall that held animals of all sorts. The closer he got, Yukine noticed that there were several other strange looking animals. Poor things. If the man was true to his word and taught the young teen how to pick locks, maybe just maybe he'd come back and do something about them.
Yukine reached the vendor, he placed himself in front of the male. "Sir! Sir! I swear I saw someone run off with one of your animals, they went that way!" He pointed a finger in a direction away from the stall, grabbing the male's sleeve and dragging him slightly. He made sure the urgency in his voice was convincing. This whole shenanigan wouldn't work otherwise. He got the man far away enough, maneuvering himself so that he was behind him. "Go! Go! Don't you see them running? Hurry!" The blond waited for the older male to take the bait before making his way back to the stall.

I’m around.
Put one of these in my askbox to see how my Muse reacts.
Lumped these all together for ease of reblogging:
"My parents know."
"Don’t go."
"You’re under arrest."
"Just let me die."
"I’m pregnant and it’s yours."
"Make me."
"Kiss me you idiot."
"I didn’t do it."
"That isn’t mine."
"Marry me?"
"Truth hurts, don’t it?"
"Be mine."
"You owe me."
"Just relax."
"I already regret this."
"Where are my clothes?"
"You could have killed someone!"
"I think I broke it."
"Do you love me?"
"We need to talk."
"Never again."
"Do I know you?"
"How drunk are you right now?"
"Well that was unexpected."
"Have you ever even done this before?"
"I just want to cuddle."
"I can’t even look at you."
"What happened to you?"
"Don’t you dare."
"I missed you."
"This stays between us."
"I need a hug."
"I could kill you!"
"Kiss me."
"You’re so weird."
"Why are you wearing that?"
"You coward."
"You’re all out of ____."
"You. Come. Snuggle. NOW!"
[here’s a few more]
"I think I’m forgetting something."
"This seems familiar."
"You lied to me!"
"Are you threatening me?"
"Is that my shirt?"
"Where did you find this?"
"Explain yourself."
"Where were you?"
"You drive me crazy!"
"I think I’m falling in love with you. "
"Are you even listening to me?"
"Just leave me alone."
"I need a drink."
"What were you thinking?"
"I dare you." or "I dare you to _____."
"I’m going to be sick."
"For you, I would _____"
"Just what did we do last night?"
"Give it back."
"I have to go."
"Shut up and listen."
"Do you remember this?"
"Want to hear a secret?"
"Take responsibility."
"Don’t look at me like that."
"Give me another chance."
"Don’t you dare come near me!"
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?"
"You mean everything to me."
"Why yes, I am as think as you drunk I am."
"What are you afraid of?"
"I miss you so very much."
"No, that can’t be my baby."
"Just five more minutes."
"No! You can’t die on me now!"
"That’s the cheesiest pickup line I’ve ever heard."
"Put. The. Weapon. Down."
"What are we doing here?"
"Do you trust me?"
"That sounds painful."
"Are you even listening to yourself?"
"I’m not speaking to you anymore."
"I can’t believe you missed that."
"That was a bad plan."
"That looked easier on TV."
"I’ve never heard that one before."
"I didn’t know you could do that."
As soon as she left, the book was already opened and being read. Things like ‘Oh, I knew it’ or ‘Why did she do that’, came from her mouth, in silent rants. Already at the tenth page, Mitsuki groaned, and shoved the book back into the shelf. It was horrible, why was it even manufactured? It was much different that the first, and that brought the raven into a sour mood.
Slowly, she returned to Yukine, an obvious look of anger and annoyance planted on her features. "Did you get what you want?" her tone was harsh, and uncaring, as her maroon eyes pierced down at the boy’s.
When Mitsuki came back, he was expecting her to have a smile on her face like she did when he first suggested to come here, but he got the opposite of that. He looked up from his own book and turned his attention to her. The blond lifted the book so that she could see the cover. "Yeah I did."
"You didn't?" He asked, the expression on her face told him that, but he wasn't going to assume upfront.
■ ∞ ■ ; He had made it clear enough that there existed very little regard for rules — if any at all, given how reckless his actions were. Perhaps the sound of his voice demanding for service was what snapped most of the patrons and staff back to reality, but now Mugen’s actions held a deeper purpose: he needed to hurry up and eat before the guards got here. Surely someone would’ve made a run for some authority to try to stop someone as lawless as himself.
And if that were the case, he’d have to take them down too if not just plain outrun them.
Sharp oculars settled on the boy after sitting down, noting the flinch though such awareness was concealed by stony visage. Too much? Not that he cared, but everyone ended up seeing something that pushed the limits of gristly every once in a while, and usually the mercenary was the one to provide. Yet he remained casual, hand rubbing idly at his stubbled chin in thoughts, eyes not bothering to scan a menu.
”Dumplings. Jus’ get me an order of dumplings.”
He looked up at the waitress. "An order of dumplings." He repeated, his eyes urging her to hurry. She left to get the order, leaving Yukine and Mugen alone at the table. Even though his caution of the man heightened, he still couldn't help but be enthralled by the man and his skill.
"How did you learn to fight like that?" There was awe in his tone as he said it, rising a little in his seat as well. The blond realized his actions and coughed, lowering himself, looking else where. "I mean, I've never seen anyone fight like you do."
Maybe he shouldn't be so impressed by what he just saw, people were injured in that fight, but as he replayed it in his mind, the fear was ebbing away, don't get him wrong, it was still there, but the scene earlier was sure a sight to behold!
so i need more people to follow, if you would be so kind could you guys reblog this and I’ll check out your blog? doesn’t really matter what fandom your muse is or if it’s an oc, i just wanna rp with people uwu
Oh, that. Admittedly, animals were not his strong area. That was more of an interest to Leonardo who, if he was here, would no doubt be sketching the animal before indeed declaring the thing fake. In all honesty, apart from the decoration, it did rather look like a normal dog to him. Probably used to be one of the mongrels that roamed the streets.
"I couldn’t say for absolute certain, but I bet if you asked the vendor he’d give you some cock-and-bull story about the thing being imported from some foreign land.”
Zo looked back at the boy, noting the displeasure about his demeanour. For those that lived in Florence, a sight such as this was quite usual. But to foreigners… Well, perhaps they had higher sensibilities wherever this lad was from.
A grin crossed his features and Zo stooped, so his lowered voice could still be heard by the other.
"So kid, can you lock-pick?"
Yukine scoffed lightly at the other's comment. He'd believe that if he actually went up and asked then the he'd be answered with some far fetched story of the origin of the poor animal. When money was the prize, most people would do just about anything to get it.
The young teen paused, his interest growing at the stranger's words. The grin on his lips was infectious. His own lips curved upwards, a small grin of his own being sported.
"I don't, but I'm a quick learner."
He could only imagine why the older male would ask him something like that, and if he was imaging correctly, then things were about to get much more intriguing.
"I’m so sorry! I stabbed Yato!"

Zoroaster, not certain if it was he was being addressed or not (and honestly not really bothered either way when it came to it), looked over to see who had spoken. It hadn’t been a voice he had recognised and certainly, neither was the face. It appeared to be a young boy, perhaps even younger than little Nico.
"Is what real? I’ll tell you in an instant, I’m rather practised at telling if things are real or not."
Gold and coin especially. How many times now had he started a fight over being given less-than-legitimate payment? Far too many for him to count. Though admittedly, do business with the criminal world and prepare to get robbed.
The boy looked at the male before his amber hues traveled to land on a near by vendors stand, cages of animals being its product to sell. "What I'm talking about is that animal right there." He lifted a hand and pointed a finger at on cage in particular. Inside was a dog with vibrant feathers placed in arrangements on its body. It looked beautiful.
"That dog has feathers on it. It can't be real." He pursed his lips in distaste. He couldn't believe it, poor thing probably had the feathers dug into its skin, kept in place by having the healed skin grow back around it.
His gaze returns back to the other. "What do you think?"
