It was just your average hot summer day at Band Camp in Cherokee, AL. I met you because we had mutual friends from my new church. I noticed you, I thought you were cute in a "7th-grader-kind-of-way." We became friends. We liked a lot of the same music. We had all the same friends. We had 4th block Band. For my birthday, you asked what I wanted and I told you "black drumsticks." You forced your parents to take you "uptown" to buy me some aforementioned "black drumsticks." Shortly, thereafter we started dating. No one knew we were dating for sure, we told everyone we were "friends." Even if they saw us holding hands or kissing, we were just "friends." I'm not sure our story was fooling anyone. I'm so glad we started out as good "friends." You are still my favorite person. There's no one else I'd rather hang out with. We've been through a lot in our 23 years together. Good times and bad. Sickness and health. Plenty and little. Vacation 2018 ____ ☀️ We came, we saw, and we survived. We arrived for a week of rest and sunshine. We got the all sunshine and we got some of the rest. ____ 🌊 We played, we swam, we dodged jellyfish. I've never seen so many jellyfish. On Wednesday, we couldn't even get in the ocean that morning. They were washing up in shore. But by the afternoon, they had pretty much all cleared out. ____ 🏡 Now, we're all packed up and headed back home. Seemingly with more stuff that we came down here with. We had a great week. Lots of fun, food, and sand. ____ 🏖 Until next year, stay sandy. (at Ft Morgan , al)

Today our gym did the "Murph" workout in honor of Micheal Murphy. The workout: A 1-mile run, followed by 100 pullups, 200 pushups, and 300 unweighted squats, followed by another 1-mile run. --- 💪🏻 These two said that wanted to workout with me. I told them that this workout was going to be hard and they may want to skip today. They refused and said they could do it. --- 🏆 They did half the workout with me! 1 mile run. 50 pull ups(ring pulls), 100 push-ups, and 150 air squats. I am beyond proud and excited to have to want to work out with me. --- 🍩 Doughnuts to celebrate! (at Hi-Temp Athletics)
