Boncoura is the latest addition to our fantastic roster of Japanese denim brands. Designed by Hisashi Morishima, the denim they use is a mix of carefully chosen American and Australian cotton dyed using natural indigo. The yarns are woven on very old narrow power looms under strict conditions where production is halted when there is not enough moisture in the air. This results in an amazing fabric that is both stiff and soft at the same time. Each pair is assembled by expert craftsmen using old reconditioned machines.
