The Little Medea
So for spring quarter I'm taking a higher level Greek Literature class that will be heavily focused on the tragedy of Medea. So I went ahead and read it just to refresh my memory about the lore. While I was reading up about Medea, I put on some Disney tunes (great combination right?). Anyway, some little mermaid music popped up after awhile, and I kept thinking about how Ariel and Medea share a slightly similar history when it comes to their love life. They both save a guy they like, leave their father's land to be with said guy, then get betrayed by the guy when he finds someone else to be with. However, the little mermaid had a less gruesome fate than the barbarian Medea (at least Disney's version, turning to sea foam is pretty bad but at least she didn't kill any children). So it makes me wonder if maybe there was some inspiration of the Greek tragedy to the classic fish tale, or if this was just a big coincidence that I'm looking too much into. Anyway, that's my spiel, thanks for reading.

It should be noted to all that I was able to use the Doctor Who “different case, same equipment” quote (without referencing The Doctor) in my in class debate and the teacher said it was a solid point.
I also used the Fourth Doctors quote of “in morality and science, the end never justifies the means” in an essay.
I love you Doctor Who <3
Sorry if I'm bugging you guys with updates about how my life is going after being gone for so long. Just thought they'd be updates to a few friends that I haven't seen since I left. Anyway, I'm done for now. Bye-Bye (>^-^)> Hugs for everyone.
