"I’m a circus boy, so sue me." Clint said with a shrug, following her onto the pavement. "The grandest thing I see is the costumes."
He noticed the word mortal, and felt something prickle on the back of his neck. Something was off about her, he knew it.
"I’m Clint. Who are ya?" He asked slowly, looking around for something familiar but there was nothing.
Perhaps things were a bit different on Midgard, more than she had originally thought. Perhaps time passed a bit differently, speeding up and slowing down like the winds. It would be a valid explanation. "I've never been to the...circus." Loki has never been to one either, doesn't really know what it is either, but he doesn't need to know that.
"L-" There was a pause. Loki wasn't the most Midguardian sounding name, was it? Maybe she ought to not care so much, but from her gown to her bare mud-stained feet, maybe she ought to have a tad of normalcy. Piercing green eyes look to the side as she replied, "Lark. You can call me Lark."
A hand goes to her cheek where a bruise is already forming. "It's alright, you didn't mean to."
dark starter sentences
some yandere, some angst, some rivalry, but no happy stuff on this list:
“You actually thought I cared about you?” “I wonder how loudly I can make you scream in agony?” “You’re a monster!” “It would be a shame if i had to damage that pretty face of yours.” “You’re all mine now.” “How could you do this to me!?” “I trusted you!” “Is that supposed to scare me?” “Put the knife down.” “You’re scaring me…” “You look so sexy when you’re all bloodied and bruised like that~” “I wonder how many volts it would take to kill you?” “Why are you pointing that gun at me?” “Let me go!” “You’re so cute when you struggle like that~” “Your blood smells wonderful.” “Who did this to you?” “You’re in my way.” “I thought you were dead!” “Help me!” “Long live the king.” “What did they do to you?” “What have you done?” “Maybe I should carve a pretty picture in your flesh?” “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything fatal, I just need some information.” “I don’t care what you do to me, I’ll never tell you!” “Stop it, you’re hurting me!” “They’ll kill you!” “I hate you.” “The only reason I chained you up is to show you how much I love you!” “If you keep struggling like that I’ll have to punish you~”

"Put your arm around me, I'll help you walk."
"I can stand by myself." Her statement, however, is negated as soon as she stands and is forced to grab Sif's shoulder to avoid eating the dirt.
Prison || Tessa
"Loki…" Though she still had a deep hatred toward the goddess, a side of her merely wished none of this had occurred, that this family would return as they had been when Loki and Thor had been innocent children. Back then, there had been no troubles, no war to fight, and everything was almost… Perfect. ”-I’m sorry”
Sorry?
In a way, Loki is sorry too, somewhere deep inside she merely wants to be just Thor's sister again. She wants to run through the meadows and playfully spar. She does want to go back before the pain and the suffering, the truth.
But even a Goddess of Lies, especially a Goddess of Lies knows that there's no going back and there is no burying the truth. What was the mortal saying? Three things cannot long be hidden, the Sun, the Moon, and the Truth.
"I don't seek apologies or pity."
She says, but her voice lacks a bit of it's previous venom.
"Lest of all from you, Tesseract."
"No."
She wasn’t moving. No matter what she said. It didn’t matter if she had orders or not, she was not letting this woman out.
"It’s not."
"Well, I certainly can't imagine that you wish to be in here with me, watching, waiting, while all your friends get to go do the exciting work."
No, that wasn't it. The captain wasn't one to get jealous, merely do what she thought was right no matter the consequences.
"It's really a brillient plan you have in motion here, I really must compliment you on it."
"What’s wrong? You’re not backing down, are you?" He pointed his blade at her. Half the blade was smooth, the silver rivaled that of the moon, the other side was the polar opposite, the blades serrated, like a great white’s teeth and the crimson of the blade, was deeper than the darkest blood.
She moved closer to the man again, dagger hovering steadily in front of her. Her lip curled at his question, teeth baring in perfect rows. "I just thought I'd give you a chance to run."
"Well great. Looks like we’re lost tagether." Clint grumbled, scratching the back of his head as he looked around. "Why ya wearing a fancy dress? Were ya kidnapped or somethin’? Because I feel like we’re both too old to be kidnapped."
"Kidnapped?" She almost laughed. "I'd like to see someone just try to take me." Her dagger is heavy against her thigh, a knife also concealed in the folds of her dress. She hikes her dress up to her knees, moving to walk in the grass next to the rough pavement. "And it's truly not that fancy. Have you truly seen nothing grander? What is your name, mortal?" The title slips unbidden from her lips and she hopes the boy will simply ignore it.
Shadow listened to the princess and took a halfstep back at her outburst. She looked at the older woman weighing her words and her posture to better assess the situation she was in. She glanced over her shoulder to see if anyone was coming or make sure that the door was still open in case she had to make a getaway. She looked back at Loki and smirked a bet. “I thought you were going to be a great queen, you ruled Asgard well enough when Thor was banished. I think you just needed a chance- and maybe a better army.”
Loki almost frowned at the words, guessing their sincerity before replying. "There will be other chances, other ways, more...efficient ways to get what I want. Thor is a fool if he truly believes I will remain a prisoner in my own halls, halls that are rightfully mine." Her pacing halts as she looks at the girl, head tilting slightly, face taking on a less threatening expression. "You are an odd person, Shadow. How did you come to be here?"
Prison Visit // Fem!Loki & Jane
"No, I don’t." Jane said and crossed her arms in front of her chest. Her eyes looked the other woman up and down. She changed from the last time she saw her on TV.
"You are Loki. You are the one that drove Erik into madness." She said coldly. Erik mattered to her very much but now every conversation she had with him tore her heart apart.
"How perceptive." Loki drawled as she looked distastefully down at the other woman. "I can clearly see why Thor likes you." The sarcastic edge wasn't something that could be easily ignored.
Eyes continued to gaze coldly with thinly veiled disdain as she continued, "Tell me, Jane Foster, is there reasoning behind your visit beyond things I've already done, because such matters are quite dull." Actually that was a bit of a fib, dull yes, but not unwelcomed.
No one ever talked to her anymore with her down her. Only her eyes ever did the talking, glaring out at fellow prisoners and guards that she told herself over and over again that she was better than. It was almost ironic, before all this she would have avoided conversation at all costs, and now once taken away, she sought it out too eagerly.
"If you believed that then you should long ago have seen the change in me," Thor hissed, forcing himself on his feet,
"It is almost amusing how you call me stubborn considering how you have become. What does it matter what I tell you? You believe nothing I say anylonger."
"Change? You've changed Thor, for better or worse I cannot say, though that massive ego of yours has certainly shrunk. I have noticed, but then again I have as well, we all have. We're not children, Thor, and you aren't my brother. It's going to take a bit more effort than what you're putting forth to get me to set foot in Asgard again. And when I do, it'll be under my terms."
Her eyes watch Thor carefully, watching...waiting. "And you've given me no reason to believe you. Even a lie has a fragment of truth in it, and I can find such fragment. You don't call me the goddess of Lies for nothing. So I ask again, why do you seek my return if you have no desire for it?"

He narrows his eyes, clenching his fists at his side. “I didn’t know you were able to swap gender.”
Her mask of vicious deceit drops for a moment at his comment, leaving naked confusion before she manages to cover it up once more. "Swap gender? However fond you mortals are of such a thing, that is no easy thing for Asgardian either. Why would I see to do such of thing? Of what do you speak?" Her dagger lowers a fraction of an inch at her words.
She was skilled, he’d have to give her that, each one of her attempts to hit him felt like it had thought but at the same time it felt like the strike also had a malice behind it and it wasn’t cause by him. He let his left foot slide in the dirt, his body’s angle shifting so he just dodged her slash only for him to retaliate by hitting her in the side with his palm, rolling away to regain his footing.
Loki moves with the blow, passing the momentum off as she ducks away from him and his sword, whirling around dagger at the ready once more a few feet away. "I have no quarrel with you." She hisses out, feet seeking purchase in the scuffled dirt underneath. "You best be off."
Well, the girl in front of him was pretty. Really fancy and he had no idea where he was or why she was so dressed up. “I mean, I asked ya first. I’d just like ta know where I am an’ why ya so dressed up.”
She may be lost, but she wasn't an idiot either. Clearly she was on Midgard, and clearly that would not be the wisest of responses to give the boy. Loki's bare feet curled under the cover of her grown as she looked at the boy again, moving a step closer. "Then you have better ask someone more suited for an answer. I too am lost."
