☾ - SIRENIA AERWYNA has been seen walking around town. Hazelgrove is familiar of the TWENTY-NINE [350] year old MERMAID as SHE is IN FAVOR OF restoring the town’s Glamour spell. The people of Hazelgrove can agree that the TRITON’S FISH MARKET OWNER & CASCO BAY COLONY ALPHA can be CLEVER yet still be STUBBORN. Let’s just hope something can be settled before the town is turned upside town. + red lips, ocean whitecaps, seashells and pearls. 

The eldest daughter of the King of Atlantis, Sirenia grew up in a lovely family atmosphere, surrounded by love and affection. As a child, the princess showed her courageous and stubborn side while venturing across the sea, trying to explore every possible corner of the ocean, always in the most creative and dangerous way possible. But then her younger siblings were born (a boy and a girl) and she had to show a responsible side, which took her a lot of time and effort to do it.

She never took advantage of her princess title, she hated it when people referred to her as such, and the only thing she demanded was that she should be called by her own name.

When she turned 150, her "early teens", her mother passed away, murdered by a sailor, which caused a lot of pain around the whole kingdom, since the queen as a lovely and respectful woman. A decade passed by and her father married another mermaid then, a few years later, her youngest sister was born: Luna Aerwyna. Sirenia welcomed her new family member warmly and loved her deeply.

Things were starting to get better when the kingdom got attacked by evil mermaids that hated how her family ruled Atlantis and everything went upside down. There was no mercy. The king tried to seal the peace between them, but it was too late. The only options were:  either you fight or run away. Against her father's wishes, Sirenia decided to stay to protect the kingdom and fight against those mermaids. She fought bravely and saved the lives of very few people. Unfortunately, her father and stepmother didn't survive. 

The kingdom had been completely destroyed and the few mermaids left had nowhere to go. Fortunately, one of the king's most loyal royal guard told her about Hazelgrove and the witches that could help them and they swimmed to the other side of the world, along with the few remaining inhabitants of Atlantis. Once they got there, Sirenia became the Casco Bay Colony Alpha and she still wishes she's ruling as wisely as her father did.

PERSONALITY & MORE

Sirenia has a strong personality and has the qualities of a true leader. She's always trying to find solutions to any problems that might come up in the town. If she sees anything wrong, she'll point it out and try to solve it.

She loves helping the merfolks that move to Hazelgrove and once you earn her trust, she'll prove being a good friend. She doesn't trust anyone easily, doesn't like to talk about her past in Atlantis and try (really hard) to seem like a tough person, but she's really soft.

The mermaid has a love-hate relationship with humans because of her mother's death.

She's really proud of who she is today and she owes it all to her family. She knows that her father would be proud of his eldest daughter being so wise and firm. If you mention that to her,she’ll be very proud and moved.

She has a long, red tail with transparent details and diamonds. She also uses diamond details on her breasts to hide them.

As I mentioned, DO NOT call her princess. Under any circunstances.

All Kade had to say about this Ball was, thank god there was an open bar. Some expensive bourbon in his hand, the hunter watched the dancing with little interest. He was only there to appease his mother anyway, and he promised to behave. Whatever the hell that meant. “At least someone enjoys this shit. I wouldn’t be caught dead out there.”

The mermaid turned to face the hunter, carefully watching him watch the people dancing. "You're certainly not the one that looks like someone forced you to be here. Most men do. Look at their faces." She tilted her chin towards a group of men that seemed uninterested. "I'm just curious... What is it about the ball that makes you hate it? Is it the who dancing thing? The tuxedos?"

“There are a few oddballs around who do like it,” he agreed, thinking of his brothers. Though, to be fair, Raine was probably the only one who was genuinely enjoying the ball for what it was; a social event. Belvar was most likely in the same ball park as Sinclair, looking for some pots to stir just for the Hell of it.

“I do need to have some strong persuasion to get on there, but that can come from anywhere. Alcohol, sleep-deprivation, a good round of Truth or Dare…Hell, I’ve danced like a moron just to embarrass someone else,” he grinned, chuckling as he finished off his current glass. “Depends on who you ask. And also depends on my mood. I’m guessing you do?”

"Yeah, a few. But you don't consider yourself as one of them, as you said. What kind of events do you like?" She casually asked as she observed him. She nodded with a thoughtful expression as he spoke. She wondered what he was. He wasn't a human, something about him could scream 'supernatural', but not everyone knew that. Supernatural beings had an accurate perception of each other, even when they acted like normal humans, like the two of them at that moment. But she wouldn't just ask him what he was, not there, at least, with some hunters around. "Well, I'd better not be your partner on the dance floor. What if you decided to embarass me?" She playfully commented after taking another sip of her drink. "I do know, yeah. I've learned how to dance a long time ago. I used to attend some balls at home but our dance was quite different." She told him.

Dipping a little in a half-bow, Gabriel maintained his smile as he took her hand into his own. And with that, he led her gently toward the dance floor, slipping rather easily into position. “Oh, I promise, I’ve never stepped on a partner’s feet. Dancing is about etiquette as much as anything else, hm? Mutual respect, consideration, all that,” he laughed. “Well, in that case, I certainly hope I can keep up. You’ll forgive me if I’m a touch rusty.” He looked up, and almost as if on cue, the music began. Taking the lead, he offered the appropriate full bow, pausing to allow Sirenia to return it before starting the dance.

She let out a soft chuckle at his reply as they walked to the dance floor. "So my feet are safe, that's really good to know. Well said.  Etiquette is key." She agreed. She waited for his bow to return it, smiling politely at him. "Only a few bow to their partner here. As I said, etiquette is key." As she started the dance, she put her left hand on Gabriel's shoulder and hold his hand with her right, moving slowly, enjoying her company and the music.

Smiling happily at her praise of his looks, he smoothed his hands over his blazer and took her hand into his lightly. “How wonderful! I’m more than willing to dance with you for as long as you’d like. Being in your presence is sweeter than the sweets I bake.” Starting to guide her towards the dance floor, he made sure no one else was behind him before kissing her knuckles lightly as he made eye contact. “Oh, we’re going to be the absolute best! There are a few from my home you might not know but have seen me do back at your place. Are you ready for it?”

"You are so sweet, Robin. But there's no need to make me blush once more, alright?" The mermaid chuckled softly as she felt her cheeks turn red, following him to the dance floor. She watched him as he kissed her knuckles with a grin. He was such a gentleman and she knew that there were only a few men that were like that in the world. Most of them were not polite and didn't have manners. Robin, whoever... He was everything a woman could ask for. Whoever that would steal his heart would be such a lucky one.  "Um, yeah, absolutely! From what I've already seen, I know you're one of the best. But can you be the best of the best?" She playfully teased with a wink and waited for him to guide her on their dance.

“May I have the honor?” Gabriel offered a polite smile, flashing his teeth. The remark came with a cloud of breathy peppermint. Still, he was dashing in his own way, so he liked to imagine, but if nothing else, he was well-versed in decorum. “Believe it or not, my parents were rather insistent on us learning ballroom as children. I may not be the trendiest man here tonight, but I can waltz. How many people can still say that, hm?” He laughed.

"Yes, you may." Sirenia smiled back, extending her hand. A man who seemed to be enjoying the Founders Ball. That was quite impressive. He was one of the few males who didn't seem obliged to attend the event. "Well, I'm glad to hear that. I was afraid I'd end up dancing with someone who could step on my feet. If you're telling me you know how to waltz, I'm gonna believe you. If that doesn't work, I'll be slightly disappointed. I've been doing this for a long time, so you'll be dancing with a pro." She playfully teased.

She almost didn’t go. It had been hell trying to find a dress that was the right style for a damn ball. She’d spent way too much money on it and she was fucked if things didn’t work out the way she wanted. Helena knew she needed clients and a giant party where everyone in town was attending seemed like a reasonable place to start. Of course it was probably a risk to try things right under the noses of the two main covens. 

It was hard not to feel invisible moving through the room. So many people in bright and bold colours with extravagant designs. Everyone knew each other it seemed. Maybe this wasn’t the best idea. Deciding the bar was the best place to go she headed over. Closing her eyes for a moment once she got there she tried to centre herself. As she did she heard someone speak and opened her eyes to turn her head and look at them. “I’m sorry, what did you say?” @mysticstart​

Sirenia walked into the room, parading in her white dress, holding a glass of champagne and taking a sip of it from time to time. The mermaid seemed really happy to be there, she loved those kind of events and she had run into some acquaintances here and there. She also knew that event was full of hunters, so she made sure she didn't do anything 'suspicious' that night. All she had to do was act like a regular human, drink some champagne and wine and dance the whole night, no big deal, nothing she hadn't done yet.  

At that moment, she was looking for her sister, wondering where she went when the eldest mermaid got out of the restroom. Maybe she had run into someone she knew. Maybe she was outside, getting some air. Sirenia was sure of one thing: Luna wasn't dancing, otherwise she'd have already seen her around. Looking through the crowd, she spotted a familiar face at the bar. The mermaid walked up to the witch. "Hey, Helena." But the other female didn't seem to hear her. She tried once again and when Helena finally turned her head to Sirenia, she grinned. "Hey, it's okay. I like your outfit. You're looking amazing, as always." She complimented her friend, pointed to her black dress. "So you're like the yin to my yang tonight, huh?" She joked as she motioned to the barman to refill her glass.

“i’ve never learned how to ballroom dance, but i can work a pole like a professional.” he says with a confident shrug, smirking a little as he thinks back to his more eventful nights. “i’m not really sure my style of movement is appropriate for this black suit and tie kind of event.”

Sirenia made a surprised look as she heard him speak. "Really? You know how to pole dance? Now I really wanna see that." She chuckled, wondering how cool that would be. They surely couldn't do that at that place, but if Purgatory was still opened by the time the event ended, Logan could teach her that. "Tell you what. I'll try to teach you some moves and in exchange you'll teach me how to pole dance later."

“And it would be an honor to dance with someone as lovely as yourself, Sirenia.” He said, giving a slight bow to her in greeting. No, it wasn’t because of her status, but because of it being proper at a ball. He’d done this before, especially in his Realm, so it was lovely to attend something as celebratory and familiar as this. The Fae really did want to enjoy the night so he dressed to the nines in his favorite color: pink. Sure, he was too bright compared to the rest of the room, but this was customary for his kind. Be at your best, in florals if need be. “You look ravishing, Sirenia. I would love it if you joined me in a dance?”

Sirenia chuckled softly as she watched him bow to her. Robin had always been a gentleman and he was one of the few men who seemed really happy to be there. She was pretty sure he had attended a lot of balls too, so he surely knew how to dance. "Of course, Robin. You look really handsome tonight. It would be such a waste if I didn't save you a few dances." She complimented him and extended her hand to him. "Show me all of your moves. I'm sure we're gonna be the best dancers here tonight."

“I try to not go to these things unless I absolutely have to,” he said with a shrug, taking a sip from his glass as he looked over to the woman speaking to him. Clothing and gender was never a thing that Sinclair cared too much about, but he could recognize the fact that women did get to have more fun with their clothes at these things. No wonder Raine went extra on his outfits. “Dancing shouldn’t be a huge problem as long as the alcohol and music keep coming.”

"Men usually don't like attending events like this. Only a few look happy to be here." The mermaid nodded and took a sip of her drink, taking a look at anyone who passed by them. She loved checking out the dresses and tuxes. "Yeah, I assume you're gonna have a lot of drinks before getting to the dancefloor, right?" She asked the demon, looking back at him with a playful smile. "Do you know how to dance?"

"I've been attending a lot of balls for a while." Sirenia told a random person as she took a sip of her champagne. Her white dress swayed around her feet as she moved slowly across the ballroom."But you know what's the best part of a ball? Dancing. I intend to do it all night"

“I’ll try, Sirenia. I promise. But…it helps curb my appetite for creams and sugars. I figured it wouldn’t be so bad as long as it is helping others.” He said, stretching more on the rock as the sea air and spray hit what bare skin he had. It relaxed him, reminding him of the shores of his realm. A smile crept onto his face, showing how comfortable he was. Though, when her hand went to his scars, he smiled and shook his head lightly. “No, they don’t hurt at all. Actually…it’s quite pleasurable when they feed. It’s how I feel when people eat my baked goods. I may not be able to eat the cookies or the cakes, but I can at least feel how they feel in a way.” Placing his cheek into his hand when he rested his elbow on the rock, he placed his hand on hers to let her press her full palm and fingers to the marred skin. “Don’t worry. I’ll be alright. I may not have my wings but I still have my magic and glamour. People don’t see what you see, and I like it that way.” As she mentioned what cake they might want, he took his hand from hers and tapped his fingertips against his lips. Hm… As if a lightbulb went off in his head, he sat up a bit more and smiled brightly to her. “I can make you a Black Ginger and Smoked Dulse Molasses cake! I’ve made it before for some of the more sea-fairing Fae back home. It’s seaweed but it’ll have a slight ginger kick with some intense flavor of molasses. I’ll even make a Kombu Kelp frosting to add to the flavor of the Dulse.”

"I trust you. I really hope it's helping you. Please, if anything, really, anything bad happens..." She didn't finish the phrase, she just watched the fae stretch on the rock and she smiled softly. It was so pleasant to see that he was feeling okay, that he was happy. That's all the mermaid wanted from him: His happiness. When she saved him, she made sure to make him feel at home and did her best to brighten up his days. "Good. I'm glad you'll be alright. It's already happening, I can see." She pressed her palm to his skin lightly and let out a chuckle as he made that adorable thoughtful face. She nodded enthusiastically as he spoke about the cake. "Yes! Yes! The way you talk about it really makes me wanna drool." She revealed, moving her hand to her stomach. "It's already growling. I really miss your food, Robin. I bet Luna will love it as much as I do!" She clapped her hand and bent over a little to kiss his cheek. "Thank you, my good friend. You're awesome, you know that, right?"

if repairing a roof meant logan and his pack would be on the good side of the merfolk? he’d do it. he’s found that it’s helpful to have alliances in this town, rather than making enemies. he’s a fighter, but he’s also come to learn in his years that it doesn’t hurt to be a good guy. “i suppose i can free up my morning to give you a hand. you’ll be there to supply more coffee, right?” he asks with a wink.

Sirenia smiled widely as he agreed to help her and she nodded. Not only he was doing her a favor, she knew if he asked for a favor she'd agree to help. That's how connections were made, right? Supernatural beings helping each other. That'd be really good. "Yeah, I think I can provide you more coffee. We'll help each other. Deal?" She extended her arm out for a handshake.

This lonely scene was an odd one. Gabe, sleeves rolled up, arms outstretched, sat in a square of grass, surrounded by a circle of gently flickering candles. The orange flames cast strange, creeping shadows across his face and clenched eyes, and the air almost seemed to pulse with some hidden magic. The presence, though, wherever it lay, was suffocating, sapping the surrounding air with its own all-encompassing anger. “I cannot tell you how sorry I am. You didn’t deserve this.” Gabriel spoke up softly, calm even under the oppressive gaze of the other. “I understand your rage. But I am your ally, the vessel for your vengeance. Justice.” As he spoke this last word, a gust seemed to fill the area, extinguishing each lit wick in one hushed whoosh. Eyes opening, the witch looked over his shoulder to the intruder. “….They’ve gone. Who’s there?” 

Sirenia debated whether she should speak or remain silent as she watched the witch talk to some spirit. She couldn't see anything, for sure. However, she definitely shivered at the thought of knowing someone was there with them. She didn't want to disturb the witch, she knew that he was really focused on his conversation and she was about to turn around to leave when the candles went out, making her eyes wide open. Yeah, they surely wouldn't stick around if she was. Clearing her throat, the mermaid took a few steps forward and waved shyly at Gabriel. "Hey, Gabriel. It's me. Did I interrupt something? I don’t want to bother..."

“now look at that, you’re actually useful to me.” he says with a gleeful grin, taking the cup from the raven haired beauty. logan finds hiimself in a much more agreeable mood after a couple of swigs and a quiet moment of contemplation. while it makes for an awkward interaction, it’s clear that he’s uncaring and refusing to indulge in heavy conversation until that sleep haze lifts. the wolf growls a little, the back of his throat rumbling quietly, his appreciation evident as he enjoys the dark beverage. “okay – you may speak.” 

She shook her head and snorted, watching the wolf enjoy his coffee. The face he made was definitely the face Sirenia made when she had some seaweed tea. She patiently waited for his approval to start speaking. "Well, since now you're in a good mood..." She teased. "Logan, I'd really appreciate if you could stop by Triton's and take a look on the roof. Since you're a carpinter, we're having some problems with the wooden roof and I think you can help us, maybe?"
