i think another thing that makes tiktok so addictive is that if you’re on the app, you’re on the app. like most of the time, i don’t think you can minimize anything or have anything playing in the bg (maybe lives sometimes but i could be wrong idk). so like you’re constantly consuming the content with no break unless you initiate (which ofc doesn’t happen that often if you’re addicted)
