Since I'm Jaylos deprived, I wanted to talk about this scene. Jay and Carlos left to The Junk Shop alone so that--let's just say Jay--could pick out a oversized outfit for little Carlos. Keep in mind that the only one who was drenched from the water was Carlos and Mal, so Jay's attention was completely on Carlos. My mind is running wild with the conversations they had and the arguing. "I'm not wearing that, Jay. It's not even remotely red, black, OR white!" "It's all we've got," Jay says, declining to mention the tiny detail that his father always stocked an abundant amount of clothing. Even in Carlos' petite size. And that's how he ends up in a cute sweater and oversized shorts, much to Jay's pleasure and amusement. Am I right or am I right?

Truths about Carlos De Vil from "Return to the Isle of the Lost"

1. Is still plagued with nightmares about his mother. 2. In Evie's words, Carlos is "obviously extremely uncomfortable with attention." 3. Tries to clean up Hell Hall from habit even though Cruella isn't there. 4. Enjoys working/studying in the dark. 5. Skips tourney practice to trace and hack an email. 6. Still damn good at manipulating technology. 7. Knows how to drive a car. 8. Jumps into crocodile infested water to save his friend. 9. Likes dancing. 10. Gets upset when his friends disappear without notice. 11. Middle name is not Danger, but Oscar. 12. Carlos says that he comes fourth in Cruella's affections, after her furs, car, and wigs. 13. After suffering through Cruella's abuse (and still dealing with the mental scars that she left behind), living in a closet, and having only technology as a friend, this is what Carlos has finally realized. In his words: "I'm better than you, Mother. No matter what you always told me." This is for Carlos, a really brave "villain" who had tons of character development but wasn't highlighted well in the books. I see you, kid! I wish you had been appreciated more.
