Week Six!
Weight; 134 kg.
Waist; 112 cm
Tummy; 131 cm
I am a weak, weak human being, and I obviously have no self-control.
I would like to start off by saying that I did not eat these all alone and not over one day. My husband helped me and I think it took me about three days to finish my six donuts AND I had totally saved up my cheat day points for these donuts. Never the less I do think this might be the reason for my minimal weight loss. So worth it.
I thought about it and decided that I’m not going to eat something just because it’s healthy, it has to be good too (I live in fear that I will someday have to consume these horrible veggie patty’s my mom made me eat when she was on a diet once. So bad). That being said I think I’m ready to up my health game. I think the next step is to get rid of the Pepsi Max and all white bread/pasta. We made amazing pizzas with a whole-wheat crust and it was delicious. I’m also thinking about getting rid of sugar, but that might take some time. As I’ve said before, I’m doing all the changes slowly so they’ll stick, it’s not a diet it’s a life style change! Screw you fast food! Although I secretly still love you. Please don’t leave me.
I also really need to figure out my breakfast ritual, I start by drinking a glass of water and a spoon full of cod oil and then I eat a small sugar free coconut yogurt and an apple. I think I should have a bigger breakfast and a bigger lunch but a smaller dinner, now I use a smaller plate and only fill it once. And I really want to start doing yoga, I think it might be good for my leg and back and also I haven’t really been feeling like going for my walks since it has been raining and cold for A WEEK. Come on!
The apartment is amazingly clean and I’m loving it! My husband is also loving it, and the new healthy food. I have already cleaned the kitchen cabinets, next I really want to re-organize the bathroom and closets. And I’m doing great with the whole “lookin’ good” deal, I’m trying to not always keep my hair up in a ponytail, and I also moisturize every day and my skin Is AMAZING. Fo’ reals, it’s like ridiculously soft.
Funny thing happened the other day. Someone rang the doorbell at 9:30 at night, now I don’t know anybody that would show up unannounced that late so I started to panic. Apparently three seasons of Criminal Minds will leave you slightly paranoid, so I started to think either someone died or I was being arrested, not that I have any reason to be arrested, but you know how it is, Or that there was a serial killer at my door. My hands started shaking and my heart racing, I was sure my life was over. No. it wasn’t. Apparently people send work documents via currier. Jesus. It took forever for me to get my heart beat back to normal. Seriously not cool, I still can’t stop watching Criminal Minds though.
And tomorrow is my husband’s birthday! I bought croissants and a bacon and ham spread thing for breakfast, then I’m going to make a chocolate cake and a nice creamy asparagus casserole. I think he’s going to invite some friends over for a LAN. I finally found a deep cleaning machine for my new old couch. I seriously can’t wait to see all the dirt come out of it, I think we might clean the other couch too and maybe the mattress. It’s slightly sad how excited I am about cleaning!
I sent my mom the folder with all the clothes that we like so she can shop for us in Germany and Italy, sweet baby Jesus I love getting new clothes! She’ll be back in about a week, actually the same day as we get home from the country side. We’re going to my husband’s grandfathers 70th birthday. Trust me, you haven’t partied until you’ve partied in the country side.
Have a wonderful week!
Lots of love,
The Slug.
