As you enter the cave to escape the sun your eyes adjust to the darkness and spy a rather large tundra lounging in the sand.
"Welcome to the Snow Den!" He says enthusiastically.
You look around the cave then outside to see nothing but dirt and desert and not a single snowflake. An idiom involving snowballs in hell comes to mind.
"No, we didn't migrate from Iceflight," Says the tundra. "My name is Snowstripe and I'm the leader of this clan. This cave has always been our home and it always will be if I have anything to say about it. Don't worry, we always welcome visitors. Come and rest a while. Dragonhome can be a harsh place even for those who are used to it. Feel free to look around, and if you have anything to say then I'm all ears," Snowstripe stands up and shakes the sand out of his fur. "Oh," he says, "and watch out for stray familiars."

I love getting art of my dragons, but I don’t do it very often because of how obsessed the FR tumblr community is with supporting artists and making sure they get paid enough, etc.
I’m not an artist, so I don’t really know how prices work, and I don’t want people to yell at me/call me an asshole for buying art off someone who isn’t pricing their art high enough (because I honestly have no idea if they aren’t).
As both an artist and an art buyer I will say this for anyone in the same situation as the OP: it is not the buyer's job to set the price of the art! It is completely the responsibility of the artist to set fair prices! This goes for overselling and underselling. Sure you can politely point out low prices if you feel the art is worth more, and it's a nice thing to do that will definitely make the artist feel better, but in the end the artist is a business owner who SHOULD know what they're doing. Honor the artist's terms and conditions, pay the price set by the artist plus tip if you're satisfied, and don't try and haggle and no one will get hurt. And if it makes you feel any better, I have NEVER seen anyone get attacked for buying art as long as they're respectful, including when the prices are very low.
Some flat color busts I’ve done for other people. In reading order:
-can1dae’s Dionysus
- XavierJordanCole's Lunah
- Zhimonster's Brother Firetribe
-Johan’s Fahrenheit
If you’d like a dragon bust of your own then hop on over to my art shop here. I’m accepting Eternal Snow for the duration of the festival. No upcharge for genes, apparel, or accents/skins. I WILL do gijinka busts provided you have a reference.
I’m offering dragon busts for Eternal Snow, as well as for other payment options (treasure, gems, certain items). For more information on the item payments go to my thread here, but here’s the skinny on Snow payments:
Lines= 50 Snow
Flats= 100 Snow
Shaded= 150 Snow
I WILL do gijinka busts so long as you have a reference picture already. I’m not in the business of designing things from scratch, sorry. Again, go here to order some art, as I probably won’t see anything on Tumblr.
Of course after I finish drawing the site hits maintenance before I can make the thread. I am too tired to continue for another half hour, but I’d like to let people know that for the duration of NotN I will be offering dragon busts (lines and flats) for chests.
Lines= 1 chest
Flats= 2 chests
The thread isn’t up yet but feel free to reblog with your FR username if you’d like a ping when it’s live.
EDIT: So Mountain Dew is a thing. The thread is here. Gijinka busts are available if you have a preexisting design.
I’m auctioning a 6-digit level 25 Ridgeback. He was part of my first breeding pair so he has quite a few offspring, but all are named. His level 25 stat are unallocated so he can be either a farmer or a trainer (he’s been statted according to Culex’s guide). If you’re interested in him you can find more information and place bids >here<.
How interested would people be in lair reviews and/or bios written in the form of poetry? I’m thinking 25k for a three dragon lair review then 10k per extra dragon, each dragon having two-three quatrains dedicated to them. For bios maybe 15k for a three-four quatrain poem then 5k for each extra stanza. Are these prices fair? Would they be something people would be willing to pay?
It’s my birthday! To celebrate I’m giving away free familiars. Reblog with your Flight Rising username and I’ll take a look through your bestiary. If I have a familiar you don’t then I’ll send it. If I don’t have anything you don’t I’ll send something random for you anyway to do whatever you want with. I’ll be doing this either until I run out of familiars or once it reaches 20:00 FR time.
I’m selling Magma Embears, Pauldrons, and a Sash, as well as an Igniteous, Flameheart, and Construct chest, all below AH prices. Here is the thread. Ping me there as I’m much more likely to see you on FR than on Tumblr.
