EVERGREEN HERBAL GRAPE CANNABIS QUENCHER

Our friends at Evergreen Herbal were kind enough to drop us off a care package to review la couple weeks ago and we've done some intensive testing and are excited to share the results! The first review is for a product not yet just released, the Grape Cannabis Quencher. The lemonade and strawberry lemonade are very popular and quite effective so I was curious to see how this one compared.

I'll be completely honest. I love grapes but I hate almost everything grape flavored (except maybe swishers). I was trying to keep an open mind. I left the medicated drink in my fridge over night to let it get nice and cold. Right when I woke up I walked down to my kitchen sleepy eyed, twisted off the top, and started chugging. By the time I was done I had consumed about half the bottle...then I realized, "this tastes amazing". I'm not sure what they did but they got the grape flavor right. It's not overly sweet like most grape products and blends well with the subtle cannabis taste. 

Recommended dosage is about half then wait a half hour and decide if you need more or not. I like to start my morning medicated so I took a few more sips, read some news articles, and finished the rest. Now before even finishing I could feel the high rushing through my body, it was awesome. I might even like it better than the classic wake and bake. At 72mg I didn't except to get at medicated as I did because I consider my tolerance to edibles to be pretty high. The high was very uplifting and giggly (I laughed at myself a few times) and lasted roughly an hour and a half. I had gotten a few photoshop tasks done with ease and focus while still enjoying my high. 

10/10 easy. Evergreen Herbal makes the best medicated drinks I've ever had. It's obvious they put a lot of care and detail into their products. The taste is amazing and quality of high is really outstanding. The've really set themselves a part from the competition.

WAX GLOBE & WAX CARTRIDGE DAB PENS

Just in! We've got 2 different pens that serve the same purpose, to give you the ability to dab on the go and discretely. Along with the 2 different attachments we have to 2 different sized batteries to fit whatever your needs may be. The 2 attachments are almost identical when you strip them of their exteriors. Both use the same coil wrapped in wick technique which I almost never have problems with and this I find very efficient. The cartridge style (pictured on the right) does have 1 unique feature that the glove burner does not have. It has a drop down coil that goes into the bottom of the piece in case some of your wax escapes and gets down there. Pretty cool feature. 

The batteries come with a slick Solution carrying case and a battery charger for your pen. Both size batters and both wax burner attachments are available now at all 4 Solution locations!

Killer Bee Concentrates & Sky High Concentrates

Sky High Concentrates is the brainchild of Tacoma resident and extractor Jake. Today I had the pleasure of testing his Lavender Haze BHO through the ringer. Opening the container you're welcomed by a sweet aroma, I haven't smelled bho quiet like this before. It has a very sweet smell that you can't help but inhale. I also love the texture of his stuff, it's very easy to scoop or poke a dab tool into. I loaded a fat rock on to my Highly Educated Ti nail and got to smoking. The taste matches the smell quite well. Very smooth on the lungs at first with a delayed cough at the end. The high was almost immediate and I could feel it in my face  on my first hit. I was greeted by a nice controllable head high and a relaxed body. The high didn't last quite as long as other concentrates I've had before but I didn't mind taking a noter dab every half hour or so because it tastes that good. I give Sky High an 8 out of 10. Outstanding taste and smell with a quick high. Definitely recommended for on the go use if you have things to get done and want to be a little medicated.

Killer Bee Concentrates is the definition of a wax concentrate. Inside the container you'll find a hard circle of waxy goodness with a very familiar smell. This is probably the most preferred texture for veteran dabbers. The hardness of the wax makes for a better melt down resulting in a better pull and high. And man does this stuff get you high. The Hindu Kush I've been testing is spectacular. I only need one dab (maybe 2) to last me a couple hours. Being an indica this is recommended for nighttime or home use because it is a very heavy drainking high. My favorite. I can easily give the Hindu Kush a 9 out of 10. It's probably my new favorite concentrate and definitely my new go to brand.

This is an interesting product. It comes in 5 vibrant colors and are just about the size of a cigarette. Each pen vaporizer is filled with an entire gram of BHO so it's sure to last for a while. It doesn't need a charger and you don't need to press any buttons all you do is take off the rubber lip slip and start sucking. You'll need to take a couple slow tokes to get the atomizer heated up. After that you can take as long of a drag as you want. 

I consider myself to have a high tolerance when it comes to marjiauna and I can say that 4-5 good pulls on this thing and I can get pretty ripped. The high doesn't last that long but the beauty of this thing is you can take another drag whenever you want wherever you want. 

This is a great stepping stone for patients that have only smoked flower and are considering trying out some concentrates. Although it doesn't have the best taste it does give you an idea of how quickly bho can affect you and how theres no smoke so you can smoke it virtually anywhere. It's great for bringing to the movies or even a family event that you just can't smell like flowers at.

BUBBLE BERRY

The name is properly fitting. This is hands down in the top 3 for best smelling strains. It has a sweet intoxicating scent that you can’t help but breathe in over and over. Seriously, this stuff smells exactly like candy. The buds almost look more orange than green but if I were blind I’d imagine it to be a florescent pink. 

I broke down a bud and quickly filled my trusty vapir no2 portable vaporizer. The taste is simply amazing, reminds me of that gum that used to come in the fake tape measurer. In a purc it’s just as tasty, nice and smooth on the lungs. Wrapped in a joint paper the taste is masked a little bit but still tasty as hell. If you have a sweet tooth this is the strain for you.

The high was exceptional. I was able to play call of duty with the aim of a marine trained sniper for 2 hours. Definitely recommended if you have some down time at home or need a spark to get the creative juices flowing. Probably not the best for day time use unless you like going out looking like a stoner zombie in public (I know, it’s sometimes it’s fun as hell!).  

I easily give Bubbleberry a 9/10. At $10 a gram this is an amazing value. A high that lasts long with a smell and taste guaranteed to tingle your sense is  what you can expect.

GIRL SCOUT COOKIES

Easily one of the most hyped up and sought after strains this year. From buds, to vape pens, to wax, this was the one patients went crazy for. It’s a hybrid (indica dom) mix of some very strong and popular strains: OG Kush, Durban Poison, and Cherry Kush.

The body of the buds almost are rock hard and structured well. The smell is an even mix of sweet and piney but it’s not overwhelmingly pungent. The greens are a little more light and subtle but the orange hairs are almost neon bright (I love this) and hints of purple can also be spotted.

I rolled up a nice fat joint and lit up excitingly. The taste is greatly balanced and very smooth. Not being too harsh on the throat makes GSC a very enjoyable strain to smoke. Buzz was almost immediate but full onset occurred about 15 mins in. I was energized and uplifted to the point I was cleaning my garage, in the cold, with a smile on my face. Great strain for getting shit done.

I have to give the Girl Scout Cookies a 9/10. Everyone buy’s at least a gram whenever they actually see it on a shelf. It’s a superb, happy high that leaves a smile on everyone’s face.

GRAND DADDY PURPLE

Grand Daddy Purple. One of the first strains I think of when premium, top tier flower is the topic of discussion. A full on indica child of Big Bud and Urkle. A deep purple and green color is expected on the dense and full buds. I mean, you could spot a nug of this thing from a mile away. It's also one of those strains that isn't always easily found, a good batch anyways. 

I quickly broke my .5 down into shreds and loaded a bowl. A rich sweet flavor quickly filled my lungs. It tastes what I imagine the color purple actually taste like. I guess you could say it tastes like grape but only because thats the best comparable flavor. A little harshness in the throat as well as dry mouth can definitely be expected. 

The high is nothing short of amazing. It's very very heavy of a body and head high. Beginner smokers should yield with a bit of caution and smoke a little to start off with. While it's not melt in your couch you definitely get stoned even when smoking just at little. I always get the tingles right after onset. I enjoy it best in a joint, that way you can really taste the purple goodness. 

I have to give the Grand Daddy a 9/10. It's a guaranteed, quality high that never disappoints. It's good for on the go, out and about as well as enjoying some quality couch time at home.  Believe the hype.

OG Crack

The first thing I notice is how dense the nugs are. The .5 I used for testing felt a lot heavier than it looked. I quickly threw thew nug in my sharp stone grinder and loaded the flower powder into my bowl piece. On first pull you can see how deep and thick the white smoke is. When it fills your lungs it’s hard to keep in, exhale is probably the best release you’ll have all day. As is with most strains this one is harsh on the throat, at least if you’re using a water bong. 

Onset occurred 10-15 mins after medicating. The high was pretty euphoric and uplifting. It gave me a nice 2nd wind after the tragic Seahawks home game loss to the Cardinals (booooo….). Food tasted magical and work was done efficiently.  I give this sativa hybrid a 8/10. If you need a sativa with a nice, but not overwhelming high this might be worth checking out (especially if you like the pine tasting strains!).

QUERKLE

This 80/20 (indica/sativa) hybrid is the offspring of two very popular strains, Purple Urkle and Space Queen. The color is a nice light green and frosted with white crystals. If you crack open a bud and look closely you'll see patches of purple hidden in the greenery. Vibrant orange hairs are also present. The smell is best described as an assortment of mixed outdoor berries. Without even cracking a bud open you can smell the fruity aroma seeping out. Smell is one thing though, taste is another. Out of a water bong I found the flavor to be very "keify" and harsh on the throat, a common characteristic of indica's. In a joint the taste wasn't improved much but I felt the harshness in the throat to be a little bit more forgiving. 

Onset occurred almost immediately with my head high coming first and body high coming moments later. I quickly jumped on my computer to note my initial thoughts. This is what I wrote: "heart is beating a little fast. i'm rocking back and forth in my chair. i'm really high. i like this haha.". For an indicia heavy hybrid I was surprisingly full of energy and felt a heighten sense of awareness. My eyes didn't feel heavy but the were glazed as a krispy kreme. Although not immediate, once I laid down to watch a little tv my body gave in. My body was completely relaxed and I was in a state of euphoria. I was excited to get a night of uninterrupted sleep and that I did. This is why I love indica's. 

I give Querkle a 8.5/10. As an indica guy I found the high to be very enjoyable. It was almost an even 50/50 body/head high despite the fact that this strain is 80% indica. I split .25 into 2 bowls and smoked them back to back. The high lasted a good 2 hours before realizing I was coming down. A .25 joint was also used for testing purposes. As expected the high didn't last quite as long but the quality of the high was matched to that of a bong rip. A sweeter taste to match the smell would have been have had me rate this at a 9.0.

Recommended for PM use unless you consider yourself a seasoned veteran and can handle a head/body high of this caliber.

For our first review I decided to test out the newest product I could find at our Renton store: Debonair Fine Oils. 

Debonair went above and beyond when it came to their packaging. Each box is hand wrapped with a thin rope and sealed with a wax stamp. Very classy and premium feeling. The tested levels are listed on the back which I think is always essential but not necessarily always done by other companies. Inside you'll find a vibrant colored oil slick container which are excellent for these types of textures. Untwist the top and you'll find a perfect circle glob of co2 goodness.

We have 4 strains (Cherry Pie, The Wills, Headband, & Girl Scout Cookies) to choose from so I picked what I thought would be the most popular: Girl Scout Cookies. The levels are as follows were impressive and are listed below.

TOTAL THC: 47.89%

CBD: 0.99%

CBG: 3.67%

TERPENE: 16.31%

For testing purposes I decided to not smoke any flower the entire day and strictly use the Debonair GSC. I wanted to measure real time results so for the first test I used my trusty globe wax burner (available at all 4 stores for $60!). I had some xmas shopping to get done in a short amount of time so I loaded up a nice glob on the wick and got to dabbin. The first thing I noticed when inhaling was how clean of a hit it was. It was a much smoother pull than anything I had smoked before and it tasted fantastic. It only took me about 28 seconds (yes I really kept a stop watch going) for the effects to fully kick in...so naturally I took 2 more big hits and entered the mall madness. The high was very energetic and made me very excited, I was part of the 1% of people with a smile on their face while shopping. I explored the first pretzel stand I saw and geeked out at the lego store before remembering I was here with a purpose. I quickly knocked out what I needed to get and left victoriously. My eyes never looked or felt heavy, hell I didn't look high at all. Although very stoned I never once felt that "I'm so high I'm gonna give up, go home, and watch netflix" feeling.

I came, I medicated, I conquered. 

The next day I stuck to the same plan and smoked nothing but the oil being tested. This time I used my buddys Silika mini bubbler w a 14mm titanium domeless nail . I don't have my own rig at the moment so it was nice to get a proper dab with proper equipment. Once again the first hit was money, smooth as an ice cube. My friend, who's dabbled (pun intended) in oil for quite some time, reaffirmed my thoughts "damn bro...that was clean. really good". I could tell he was stoned. I was too, so much in fact I didn't take another dab for the rest of the 3 hours I was there. Close to a half hour in i noticed the pain in my back, caused by carrying my niece on my shoulders the night before, was completely non-existent. I was in heaven.  

I give The Debonair Fine Oils a 9/10. If I had to nitpick and make one complaint it would be that for on the go it's not exactly the best texture for the globe wax burner or anything with a coil. If not put on properly the wick can be pulled out because of the stickiness. It's still works beautifully with those devices but it really shines in a proper oil rig. 

For only $40 you get a beautifully crafted box, a free oil slick container, and a gram of tasty co2 oil. I highly recommend it for experienced smokers as well as patients that have always been curious and are looking to make their first concentrate purchase.
