Hey there! It’s your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! I’ll be swinging around to help whoever or whatever needs help!

I am 23 years young! But I will perpetually look 18! Damn babyface.

You can call me spidey or whatever nickname you come up with!

(Pssst, I’m secretly Peter Parker but don’t tell anyone that.)

Feel free to come ask me for something!

I love researching spiders! I loved it so much I kinda got bit by one. But it did give me powers!

I have a bit of adhd and autism! So if you say something and I don't understand immediately please be patient with me!

Open RP - Firefox 🌋

Voss is in a very good mood. He and his partners had just gotten their new bookcase set up in the new apartment and it seemed... empty to him. Which just meant an excuse to do something he'd very quickly gotten addicted to after finding a place to live, buying more books.

He sighs happily as he buries his face in a book, breathing in the smell of ink and paper. Its one of his favorite scents. If it was a candle he'd have a million of them. He taps his claws against the cover as he reads the back, liking the soft noise it makes. He's glad he grabbed a basket, he's gonna have to sort through all these to decide what to actually buy. His arm is already sore from how many he's carrying around.

Eventually he's done picking things out, and he heads over to the small cafe section of the store where theres lots of tables and spots to sit. Unfortunately all the tables are taken. He walks over to one and clears his throat, putting a hand on the back of the chair farthest from the person sitting at the table. "Excuse me..? Would you mind if I sit here?"

Peter was reading a research paper about spiders funny enough. "Hm? Oh sure!" He moves some of the papers and his laptop over to make room for Voss to sit down at. "Lot of books you got there!"

"Thank you..." He smiles shyly, sitting down and setting the basket semi-uncomfortably in his lap. "Yeah, heh, might have gotten a bit carried away... just gotta sort through now and decide what I can actually afford." He laughs awkwardly.

"Heh. Been there. You buying those for yourself or someone else? I usually only buy textbooks these days. Trying to get my doctorate." Peter says gesturing to the textbooks and papers strewn about.

"Myself! And maybe my partners if I can drag them into reading with me. We got a new bookcase and the amount of empty space was just begging to be filled." He tilts his head, glancing at what Peter's working on. "A doctorate? Wow... you're smart."

"Well. I don't know.. anyone could get into MIT and get a doctorate. Just gotta put your mind to it ya know!"

"Well- not anyone." Frowns ever so slightly but quickly hides it. "Determination is definitely something though."

"Well. Yeah. Not for everyone. But most people can! You just gotta believe! Use your power for good and all that!" Peter talks like he speaks from experience on the power end of things.

"I dont think belief will pay for a tuition. or get me a high school diploma." He mumbles the last part mostly to himself, too quiet for anyone with normal hearing to understand him.

"Ah. Yeah. I mean. I am under a lot of debt to pay for my tuition. On top of managing my bills at my apartment." Peter says awkwardly. "But I know I'll get there one day! My main way of making money so far is being a photographer for the daily bugle."

"A photographer?" He's not really a fan of photography. Makes his skin crawl. Its polite to show interest though, he's pretty sure. "What kind of things do you photograph?"

"Well. I mostly take pictures of Spider-Man. JJJ pays good money for pictures so he can slander m-him in the paper." Peter almost slips but catches himself.

Just gonna pretend he didn't notice that. (He definitely did.) "Spider-Man's pretty cool. News loves to slander heroes."

"Yeah. JJJ has been starting to run some stories on this new hero as well. I think he said they were going by Cardshark? Some new card themed hero."

His eyes get wide. "Cardshark? Really? ...are the stories good..?"

"Well. He usually does the same thing he does with Spider-Man. He just rants about how they are a menace. But he did give them points for cleaning up the streets of addicts and preventing assaults."

"Wow. Thats practically a glowing review from The Bugle, isnt it?" He smiles, tails wagging. He's so proud of his partner.

"I mean. Nicer then anything he's said about Spider-Man. Even though he's done nothing but good for the city! I can't count the number of times JJJ has called him a menace even though the most recent thing he did is amazing!"

"Well yeah, the mans clearly got issues. Some kinda super specific beef." Shrugs, sorting his books into piles.

"Yeah. Did Spider-Man kick his puppy or something? Spider-Man is a saint!" Peter seems kind of upset about Spider-Man being called a menace.

"Anyone with actual brains can see through the slander. Don't get yourself worked up over it."

"Yeah. Some of the nicknames he came up with to make fun of him are ridiculous. Spider-Shit. Stupid-Man. I think my favorite is Spider-Menace. Real original there JJJ."

"Oh definitely. It sucks but that's whats funny about it."

“Well. It pays good. Otherwise I’d be delivering pizzas. But last time I did that it only payed enough for rent alone.”

“I mean, if you don’t mind the low pay, you sometimes get free pizza!”

"Free pizza?" His eyes widen, tails wagging. "That sounds worth it."

“Yeah! I mean, pizza is my favorite food but even I get sick of it after a while! Taking pictures is much more lucrative.” Peter takes notice of Voss’ shirt. “Hey, is that a Spider-Man shirt?”

"Hm? Oh- yeah..." He blushes a bit. "I made it. He's one of my favorite heroes."

Peter smiles a little. “That’s awesome. But usually the shirts are red, not green. Not a criticism, just saying.”

"I know... couldn't get my hands on a plain red shirt though... plus I look better in green."

“Ah, fair enough.” Peter says taking a sip of his coffee. “What are some of those books you got there?”

"Oh, uh-" He taps the top of one pile. "Thats action, adventure, and mythology. This piles text book stuff, I like- um- engineering and stuff. A-and this piles um..." Blushes harder. "Romance novels..."

“Romance huh? Cool. Personally I’m not one for the genre but if you like it that’s great! Engineering huh? Also cool! I thought about being an engineering major but I like spiders too much so I became a biology major!”

"I like seeing how things work inside. Biologys cool too... but if I wanted to see how animals worked I'd just go hunting."

“Also fair, I’m just super autistic about spiders so i might as well write my doctoral thesis about them!”

"Thats really cool. Good to have things you're passionate about."

“Yeah. Might as well put my knowledge and passion behind furthering my career! Do you have any academic goals?”

He looks down with a frown. "Oh- uh- no... I... I don't really do school..."

“Ah. Alright. Sorry if that’s a sore spot. Didn’t mean to pry.”

"It's okay. Teenagers dont like school and I'm a teenager so its uh normal. ...I think."

Peter can sense that there is something more he isn’t letting on but doesn’t pry. “Alright.” Suddenly, something whizzes past the cafe. “Oh crap, uh. It was really nice to meet you but I have to go.” Peter starts packing up all of his things.

Voss is in a very good mood. He and his partners had just gotten their new bookcase set up in the new apartment and it seemed... empty to him. Which just meant an excuse to do something he'd very quickly gotten addicted to after finding a place to live, buying more books.

He sighs happily as he buries his face in a book, breathing in the smell of ink and paper. Its one of his favorite scents. If it was a candle he'd have a million of them. He taps his claws against the cover as he reads the back, liking the soft noise it makes. He's glad he grabbed a basket, he's gonna have to sort through all these to decide what to actually buy. His arm is already sore from how many he's carrying around.

Eventually he's done picking things out, and he heads over to the small cafe section of the store where theres lots of tables and spots to sit. Unfortunately all the tables are taken. He walks over to one and clears his throat, putting a hand on the back of the chair farthest from the person sitting at the table. "Excuse me..? Would you mind if I sit here?"

Peter was reading a research paper about spiders funny enough. "Hm? Oh sure!" He moves some of the papers and his laptop over to make room for Voss to sit down at. "Lot of books you got there!"

"Thank you..." He smiles shyly, sitting down and setting the basket semi-uncomfortably in his lap. "Yeah, heh, might have gotten a bit carried away... just gotta sort through now and decide what I can actually afford." He laughs awkwardly.

"Heh. Been there. You buying those for yourself or someone else? I usually only buy textbooks these days. Trying to get my doctorate." Peter says gesturing to the textbooks and papers strewn about.

"Myself! And maybe my partners if I can drag them into reading with me. We got a new bookcase and the amount of empty space was just begging to be filled." He tilts his head, glancing at what Peter's working on. "A doctorate? Wow... you're smart."

"Well. I don't know.. anyone could get into MIT and get a doctorate. Just gotta put your mind to it ya know!"

"Well- not anyone." Frowns ever so slightly but quickly hides it. "Determination is definitely something though."

"Well. Yeah. Not for everyone. But most people can! You just gotta believe! Use your power for good and all that!" Peter talks like he speaks from experience on the power end of things.

"I dont think belief will pay for a tuition. or get me a high school diploma." He mumbles the last part mostly to himself, too quiet for anyone with normal hearing to understand him.

"Ah. Yeah. I mean. I am under a lot of debt to pay for my tuition. On top of managing my bills at my apartment." Peter says awkwardly. "But I know I'll get there one day! My main way of making money so far is being a photographer for the daily bugle."

"A photographer?" He's not really a fan of photography. Makes his skin crawl. Its polite to show interest though, he's pretty sure. "What kind of things do you photograph?"

"Well. I mostly take pictures of Spider-Man. JJJ pays good money for pictures so he can slander m-him in the paper." Peter almost slips but catches himself.

Just gonna pretend he didn't notice that. (He definitely did.) "Spider-Man's pretty cool. News loves to slander heroes."

"Yeah. JJJ has been starting to run some stories on this new hero as well. I think he said they were going by Cardshark? Some new card themed hero."

His eyes get wide. "Cardshark? Really? ...are the stories good..?"

"Well. He usually does the same thing he does with Spider-Man. He just rants about how they are a menace. But he did give them points for cleaning up the streets of addicts and preventing assaults."

"Wow. Thats practically a glowing review from The Bugle, isnt it?" He smiles, tails wagging. He's so proud of his partner.

"I mean. Nicer then anything he's said about Spider-Man. Even though he's done nothing but good for the city! I can't count the number of times JJJ has called him a menace even though the most recent thing he did is amazing!"

"Well yeah, the mans clearly got issues. Some kinda super specific beef." Shrugs, sorting his books into piles.

"Yeah. Did Spider-Man kick his puppy or something? Spider-Man is a saint!" Peter seems kind of upset about Spider-Man being called a menace.

"Anyone with actual brains can see through the slander. Don't get yourself worked up over it."

"Yeah. Some of the nicknames he came up with to make fun of him are ridiculous. Spider-Shit. Stupid-Man. I think my favorite is Spider-Menace. Real original there JJJ."

“Romance huh? Cool. Personally I’m not one for the genre but if you like it that’s great! Engineering huh? Also cool! I thought about being an engineering major but I like spiders too much so I became a biology major!”

His eyes get wide. "Cardshark? Really? ...are the stories good..?"

"Well. He usually does the same thing he does with Spider-Man. He just rants about how they are a menace. But he did give them points for cleaning up the streets of addicts and preventing assaults."

Voss is in a very good mood. He and his partners had just gotten their new bookcase set up in the new apartment and it seemed... empty to him. Which just meant an excuse to do something he'd very quickly gotten addicted to after finding a place to live, buying more books.

He sighs happily as he buries his face in a book, breathing in the smell of ink and paper. Its one of his favorite scents. If it was a candle he'd have a million of them. He taps his claws against the cover as he reads the back, liking the soft noise it makes. He's glad he grabbed a basket, he's gonna have to sort through all these to decide what to actually buy. His arm is already sore from how many he's carrying around.

Eventually he's done picking things out, and he heads over to the small cafe section of the store where theres lots of tables and spots to sit. Unfortunately all the tables are taken. He walks over to one and clears his throat, putting a hand on the back of the chair farthest from the person sitting at the table. "Excuse me..? Would you mind if I sit here?"

Peter was reading a research paper about spiders funny enough. "Hm? Oh sure!" He moves some of the papers and his laptop over to make room for Voss to sit down at. "Lot of books you got there!"

"Thank you..." He smiles shyly, sitting down and setting the basket semi-uncomfortably in his lap. "Yeah, heh, might have gotten a bit carried away... just gotta sort through now and decide what I can actually afford." He laughs awkwardly.

"Well. I don't know.. anyone could get into MIT and get a doctorate. Just gotta put your mind to it ya know!"

His eyes get wide. "Cardshark? Really? ...are the stories good..?"

"Well. He usually does the same thing he does with Spider-Man. He just rants about how they are a menace. But he did give them points for cleaning up the streets of addicts and preventing assaults."

"Yeah. Did Spider-Man kick his puppy or something? Spider-Man is a saint!" Peter seems kind of upset about Spider-Man being called a menace.

"Anyone with actual brains can see through the slander. Don't get yourself worked up over it."

"Yeah. Some of the nicknames he came up with to make fun of him are ridiculous. Spider-Shit. Stupid-Man. I think my favorite is Spider-Menace. Real original there JJJ."

Open RP - Firefox 🌋

Voss is in a very good mood. He and his partners had just gotten their new bookcase set up in the new apartment and it seemed... empty to him. Which just meant an excuse to do something he'd very quickly gotten addicted to after finding a place to live, buying more books.

He sighs happily as he buries his face in a book, breathing in the smell of ink and paper. Its one of his favorite scents. If it was a candle he'd have a million of them. He taps his claws against the cover as he reads the back, liking the soft noise it makes. He's glad he grabbed a basket, he's gonna have to sort through all these to decide what to actually buy. His arm is already sore from how many he's carrying around.

Eventually he's done picking things out, and he heads over to the small cafe section of the store where theres lots of tables and spots to sit. Unfortunately all the tables are taken. He walks over to one and clears his throat, putting a hand on the back of the chair farthest from the person sitting at the table. "Excuse me..? Would you mind if I sit here?"

Peter was reading a research paper about spiders funny enough. "Hm? Oh sure!" He moves some of the papers and his laptop over to make room for Voss to sit down at. "Lot of books you got there!"

"Thank you..." He smiles shyly, sitting down and setting the basket semi-uncomfortably in his lap. "Yeah, heh, might have gotten a bit carried away... just gotta sort through now and decide what I can actually afford." He laughs awkwardly.

"Heh. Been there. You buying those for yourself or someone else? I usually only buy textbooks these days. Trying to get my doctorate." Peter says gesturing to the textbooks and papers strewn about.

"Myself! And maybe my partners if I can drag them into reading with me. We got a new bookcase and the amount of empty space was just begging to be filled." He tilts his head, glancing at what Peter's working on. "A doctorate? Wow... you're smart."

"Well. I don't know.. anyone could get into MIT and get a doctorate. Just gotta put your mind to it ya know!"

"Well- not anyone." Frowns ever so slightly but quickly hides it. "Determination is definitely something though."

"Well. Yeah. Not for everyone. But most people can! You just gotta believe! Use your power for good and all that!" Peter talks like he speaks from experience on the power end of things.
