I wonder if older versions of The Little Red Riding Hood had a man instead of a wolf. Maybe it was deemed less sexually creepy or something. It's weird to me that the girl can recognize that her grandmother looks different but not that it's a wolf. Also it's the only "supernatural" element of the story, there are no fairies or witches or anything magical, just this anthropomorphic wolf.

My pitch for a Weapon X film

Weapon X is set in the Vietnam War era. After a round of service in Nam where his mutant abilities grabbed the attention of his superiors, James "Logan" Howllet comes back to the U.S. and starts working as an assassin for the government. Although born in Canada in the 1890's, Logan has forged american documents to cover the discrepancy between his real age and his appearance.

The movie quickly skims over a few of his missions, where his healing factor and completly concealed and undetectable weapons give him great advantage. The major antagonist is Erik Lehnsherr, aka Magneto, a terrorist advocating for the rights of mutants, people born with superhuman abilities. Magneto is considered a threat and Logan is sent to assassinate him. Through the movie he meets Xavier and the first class of X-Men (Jean Grey, Hank Mccoy, Warren Worthington III, Robert Drake and Scott Summers), and Xavier, Hank Mccoy nad Jean Grey hint on Logan being a mutant himself, but do not go deep into the subject.

The assassination attempt fails as Logan is surprised by Victor Creed, aka Sabretooth, who, like Logan, used to work as an assassin for the government. The two feral mutants fight claw to claw and Magneto tells Logan about his true nature and how is a traitor to the mutant race.

Beat and ashamed, Logan is brought back to HQ and told about the Weapon X program and how it enhanced Sabretooth's body. After being put through a series of procedures to cover his skeleton in the rare Adamantium alloy, Logan wakes up confused and with his memory gone. The combination of Logan's agression, confused, and newly covered-in-adamantium claws results in him escaping the facility and wondering through the woods by himself, hunting for food for days, before being contacted by Xavier via Cerebro, who invites him to join the X-Men.

The points of this pitch are:

to introduce another actor for the role of Wolverine

to establish that mutants have been present in the MCU long before other superpowered people started popping up

to use the first class of x-men as mentor figures and martyrs in the main mcu continuity

Spidersona - Spider-Cam

Cameron Castro is a brazilian-american kid trying to go viral. He has tried dancing, he has tried cooking, he even tried sewing cause that was big for a bit. When he learns about urbex, he decides to try it, maybe that's his niche. Cameron goes on to explore an abandoned Alchemax facility, where he gets bit by a radioactive spider. The video of him finding the arachnid infest Alchemax was a hit, so he decides to explore another abandoned building. There he realizes his can see in the dark. Exploring the building, he falls through the floor, activating his spider sense for the first time, landing on his feet. Stuck in the pile of rubbish, he learns he can climb on wall and produce organic webbing.

Cameron then creates the channel Spider-Cam, a play on his name and the POV-style videos. He is finally viral, uploading videos of urbex and building swinging.
