I’ve been using the Kask Protone on and off since eurobike last year (September in the none industry world) so I thought I’d get some thoughts down. The version you can buy now isn’t the same as what Team Sky debuted at the Tour last year, it’s better. SKY complained that the ventilation could be better in the high heat of July in France so Kask made some tweaks. I’ve yet to experience those kind of temperatures but I can happily say that I’ve never had that cooking head feeling. The fit is great, for me personally better than their incredibly popular Mojito. I’ve tried it with loads of different eyewear and had no issues with the arms touching the fit system. The fit system itself is great as it’s got lots of adjustment, vertical to position the height correctly, side to side on the contact points on the back of the head and finally a winder so you can adjust it to fit your head. Noise reduction is an added and unexpected bonus, and one I’m happy to take. Overall I’ve been super impressed with the helmet and I can see why the Sky boys like it so much. #kask #protone #sky
I just got my hands on one, and I have free helmet offers all the time from sponsors. That helmet is pure bliss how it surrounds my cranium...
