Dessert pizza indeed. I have to say my personal favorite involves a lot of pineapple, but I could just as easily do mixed fruits or strawberry or something chocolatey.

If your fathers ever need help, Mistress, and you’d wish it, of course I’d want to help them. I imagine working in a restaurant is a good bit different than my own kitchen, but I have helped for events at the country club back home. It can’t be all that different, can it?

Just an equally tiny, feisty bundle of joy, Mistress.

I’ve never properly worked outside the home. My Father didn’t believe in it. I’m not sure I’d be equipped for anything else.

I think just vacations in general. Even though these months at Dalton have seemed like one, I can’t remember the last time I actually went on a vacation.

We’ll have Israel and Rome once the study’s over, and even though it’ll mean getting used to the saying ‘standby’, I’d like to make sure to set aside time here and there between workshops, rehearsals, and performances for us to get away and just be. I like our bubble.

I don’t know that I would count Dalton as a vacation necessarily, Mistress, even if it has been a break from real life.

Of course, Mistress. I’ll help make any and all arrangements you’d like. I imagine I’ll have plenty of time to do so. Your home won’t take nearly as much time to keep in order as my Father’s house. Having something else to do will help keep me busy.

I can’t say we ever took too many family vacations growing up. Dads has the business and all of us kids were always busy with our own activities that never really aligned for mutual free weeks. However, I wouldn’t mind establishing such a tradition with you, my girl.

We needed to be trained for all kinds of circumstances, including vacations, so the trips always served a bit of a dual purpose.

You’d want to go to the Gulf Coast for summer vacations, Mistress? Or just the beach in general?

Define ‘cold’, sweet girl. Because especially in the height of summer in late July and early August, the air temperature on the sand with an ocean breeze blowing inland is extremely enjoyable, but I don’t believe water temps really ever surge above 75 degrees.

Is the beach one of your favorite pastimes? I’ve always preferred a poolside or surf and sand myself.

I suppose that doesn’t sound so bad. Late summer beach visits will have to do. Better than none.

I like pools, too, Mistress. We have one at home. But Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Pensacola Beach have been frequent Fabray travel spots over the years.
