On Chen, Idol Marriage, and Why You Shouldn’t Turn Your Backs on Him and EXO
Marriage is such a beautiful thing and so is having a child. Chen even said that this was a blessing. I don’t understand how some fans, particularly K-EXOLS, would twist this into some sort of selfish narrative. As a K-Pop fan for 10 years, I’ve seen this happen all too many times. It’s always the same excuses, the same patterns of behavior, and it’s disgusting.
Your idols are humans, and buying their albums, their music, their merch - it doesn’t entitle you to anything. They worked hard for that, and you willingly spent that money to support them. It’s theirs now and they can do anything they please with it. Do not look at idols like their some sort of ownership. Some of you may not be ready to hear this truth, but jealousy because you could not end up with them is delusional and you need to reevaluate yourself if you think it’s valid.
Chen deserves the best in life. Even non-fans say every inch of him radiates kindness. He’a always been so thoughtful of us. Don’t you think it’s cruel to deprive him of happiness?
Please continue to shower Chen, his fiancée, and EXO with support. They need this all the more right now. I believe his situation will not hinder EXO’s activities as some are using as an excuse, nor does it mean that he doesn’t love his fans. He has shown us enough love and has always done his best. Give him kind and pretty words on you social media platforms, especially on Twitter and the Lysn App.

Be wary as well, as those who are not in favor of Chen’s current situation would trick I-EXOLs into using banners that are actually hating on him. These photos are manipulated and would look positive by ending it with an English phrase such as “We Always Love You Chen”. Use these photos and this one instead, as they are harder to manipulate. If you can, spam them on the LYSN app so Chen can see how much support he is getting from us. Additionally, if you guys are on twitter, be sure to block the accounts on this blocklist.
Remember to stream his music, and send him lots of encouraging messages!
