People telling them if Miracle doesn’t do well, they should disband, even though they JUST debuted, was probably so disappointing to them because it shows that those who are suppose to take care of them have no faith in them. I would have felt hopeless and felt a lot of doubt. But these boys, these precious boys, worked so hard. After struggling to be formed as a group, knowing they had a shitty “graduate” system, and being treated like shit even before the debuted just because there were 12 of them…

You look at all these thing, not just Super Junior’s music, but everything else they represent and you know they have changed so many things in k-pop. To think these boys who people doubted since day 1 became (and are) the face of k-pop, the kings of k-pop…a title well deserved and rightfully earned. A title given to them by South Korea and not just their fans. I am proud to be ELF. No matter what people say about them, how much they try to drag these men down, it will never change how I feel about them and how important, strong, and legendary they are to me.

Super Junior’s legacy isn’t just their music or their titles, it’s the changes they’ve brought to the k-pop industry (that we take for granted now) by facing extreme hardships, bias’ and discrimination.
