Its the Year 1930, the peak of the Prohibition Era. In the city of Eidolon Pasture, Illinois, the criminal underground holds it's breath as a tentative peace bears the strain of a once great unified family splitting apart. The Five Bishops each hold domain over their own districts, eyeing the uncontrolled heart of the city with greed while watching each other for the slightest hint of weakness.
Meanwhile a lone sheep completes their seminary, leaving the comfort and safety of university to face the cold of the world on their own. Unbeknownst to this down on their luck Lamb, their family owes a great debt, and they're the only one who's left to pay the toll.
What lengths will they go to keep their head? Can they possibly survive the horrors of the underworld? Will their creditor ever truly release them from their leash?

I've finally completed my very first ever attempt at long-form writing! 'Course my ADHD hyperfixation decided it was going to be COTL. I've been so deeply inspired by all the amazing artists and authors of this fandom, I wanted to have a go myself. So here we are! I have a lot to learn, and its going to be a rough journey for me, but it'd be a delight if you'd all join me along the way as I grow as a writer, storyteller, and world builder.
