It was a legend that had flooded Camelot with hopeful individuals seeking to see if they were the destined heir, from the most gallant of knights to the poorest of beggars. None of them succeeded-- no one believing the sword could be pulled-- until a boy accomplished what no other could. Not only becoming the King of England but the ruler that promised unity after a world filled with strife.
Never knowing that over a decade later he’d come face-to-face with the physical embodiment of the sword that was forever by his side; a being that has come in a time when Camelot needs them the most.
For if they lost there wouldn’t be anything left to live for.

One of the first people that you meet upon entrance of Camelot. Soft spoken, with a surprisingly insightful look on life, she makes an impression on you automatically; not to mention the feeling that you’ve met her somewhere before. You don’t know what will happen in the coming days, but you hope that you’ll be able to get to know her more.

Morgan/Morgana Le Fay [M/F] - The Sorcerer

The half-sibling of King Arthur that tends to stick to the shadows of the castle. Their sarcastic tone only softening slightly when dealing with their brother but for everyone else it’s mainly thinly veiled exasperation. Will you be able to get past the icy exterior of their heart? Seeing what no one else, but Arthur, has ever seen before?

The Wizard of King Arthur’s Court-- also known as Merlin-- who isn’t at all what you were expecting upon meeting them. Their youthful face, for one, didn’t fit with the tales of an aged man guiding the young king; not to mention their cheerful disposition towards life. However, don’t let their appearance dissuade you as their magic hums just underneath the surface... waiting to be unleashed.

With a temper as fiery as their hair, this reputable Knight of the Round Table is known far and wide, with an added bonus of their prowess in battle, they’re quite feared. Extremely loyal to the ones that have earned their trust-- namely Arthur-- they would fight till the bitter end to stay by their side.

The pseudo-leader of the group that captured you, Sabrael isn’t one to be taken lightly. While they’re not outright hostile to you, Sabrael clearly doesn’t trust you like two of the other members of the group do. Will you be able to change their mind about you? Finding the protective warrior that would do absolutely anything for the people that they love.
Appearance: Sabrael stands at around 6’2” with raven black hair and icy silver eyes. Their bronze skin stands out against the usual white armor that they’re commonly scene within; rarely ever dressing down into comfortable clothes. They have an athletic physique from constant training. (M!Sabe has his hair cut short and F!Sabe has hers to her jawline.)
An individual that almost seems too good to be true, Remiel— or Remy as they insist you call them— is a gentle soul that seems to just want the best for you. Being the first to volunteer when it comes to showing you around your new home and trying to make you feel as welcomed as you possibly could be. Will their sunny persona be the balm to your aching soul?
Appearance: Remiel stands at around 5’4” with bright hazel eyes— gold and greens meshing beautifully— and onyx black hair. Medium brown skin is accentuated beautifully by the light pastels that Remiel favors; they have a slender build. (M!Remy has his hair falling across his forehead in curls and F!Remy has hers to just over her shoulders.)
With a quick wit, Cassiel somewhat reminds you of a seductive demon; just without all the threats of death. Having a flirtatious demeanor and spirit, Cassiel tends to be rather brash— especially if it means getting Remy flustered— but they’ll pull back the moment someone expresses serious discomfort. Will you find love with someone that claims they don’t believe in it?
Appearance: Cassiel stands at around 5’10” with emerald green eyes and dark brown hair. Olive toned skin is usually accentuated with various shades of red or purple. They have a lithe build to their body. (M!Cass wears his hair to just above his ears and F!Cass wears hers to her shoulder blades.)
An oddity within the group as a whole. Especially since they’re the only one that rarely speaks to you or stays within your presence long. As you remind them of the worst thing that happened to them; having been an Angel borne within the realm of demons. The marks across their body showcase the horrors of their journey back to the Silver City. Will you be able to soothe their pain? Or only be a catalyst for more?
Appearance: Aerin stands at around 6’5” with golden white hair and crystalline blue eyes. Their fair skin is always shielded in a cloak of deep gray; they’re rarely ever seen without it (unless they’re around people they trust). They have a muscular build. (M!Aerin hair brushes his jawline and F!Aerin falls to the middle of her back, but it’s usually kept in a ponytail.)
Just wanted to put this message out: Sorry for being gone for so long! Life has been hectic, but everything is looking up for the prologue and first chapter of The Sword of Avalon to come out within the next two-three months!
What happens if MC gave up their connection to Avalon? I mean, will be any serious consequences?
You’ll become mortal but there wouldn’t be any dire consequences for doing so. You’d just feel like something was missing. As you’re used to feeling the thrum of Avalon within your veins. Plus, the MCs tattoo would turn into just inky black and fade away a bit (it would never leave completely).
Mc can't have children, right? Do they age? What not mortal things do they have?
The MC could potentially have children if two things happened— they gave up their connection to Avalon and they took a potion to be able to do so. Other than that the MC can’t have children, you’re correct.
You will age, while out of Avalon, but it would be at a much slower rate than other people. If you were in Avalon then you wouldn’t age at all.
I feel dumb for asking but what do you mean by not mortal things? I just wanted to make sure I’m understanding you correctly.

Where Arthur was outgoing and energetic— reminiscent of a few hounds within Camelot— Lancelot was stoic and rarely let his guard down around strangers; he was the grounding anchor that your brother needed. Maybe he’s supposed to be yours to. (Male MCs Only.)
Guinevere [F] - The Queen

There isn’t much to be known about Arthur’s prospective bride— the soon-to-be Queen of England. All that you could have ever possibly learned would never have prepared you for the tidal wave that was Guinevere, however. Compassion and warmth was something she shared with Arthur, but the cold, almost calculating, way she stared at those she perceived as a threat? It just made you glad she was on your side. Will you be able to break down the walls surrounding her heart? (Female MCs Only.)

can i ask why you chose to have morgan le fay be gender selectable?also why you chose to change her name dependent on gender choice when morgan is generally deemed a gender neutral name?
I just thought it’d be an interesting dynamic. As for the name? It makes it a bit easier for me to differentiate between the two… that’s about it 😅.
63. What is one fear that you’d be ashamed of your friends knowing about? for Arthur please!
How terrified he is of being King. He knows that he was born to do it, would never wish for anyone to carry the burden, but it doesn’t lift the weight from his shoulders. Doesn’t negate the memories of what his father had done during his reign.
Arthur loves his country— wants nothing more than happiness to prosper throughout it, but he’s terrified that he won’t be enough. That his ideas, his promises, will fall flat.
And he’ll be an even bigger disgrace than Uther was.
How would the ROs react to cat-like personality MC? independent, quiet, but also like to snuggle them....especially when they're working or busy with something....
Arthur: He would find it adorable. Arthur is sort of like a golden retriever in some regards so he’d be absolutely buzzing with happiness whenever the MC would want to cuddle up against him. Honored that he’s the one that you feel comfortable enough to do so with.
Vivien: She’s met quite a few people that— never truly paying them any mind as she knows that not truly their cup of tea. If the MC was like that? She’d just learn to work around it— making schedules that will align with places you’re comfortable in. When she gets to snuggle with you at the end of the day? Everything is worth it.
Morgan/Morgana: They’re a lot like that in some regards— though they’d never admit they love to cuddle. They’d find the MC snuggling into their side cute and impossibly endearing. Even if they don’t pay you much attention while doing so you’ll always find yourself waking up with their cloak wrapped around your shoulders and the faint memory of them kissing your forehead.
Emrys/Emrya: They’re quite loud and have a lot of energy… so it would take them a while to make sure they were at the correct energy level when interacting with you as to not stress you out. When they learn the MC likes cuddles? They’d be over the moon and they’d make sure you at least got one, maybe two, cuddles per day.
Caelian/Caelia: Despite their brash exterior, they’re actually quite reserved themselves when it comes to being around people they’re close with. An MC that was just like them would be a good match for them as you’d both just be leaning into each other’s side while working on other things— a companionable warmth being shared between you both.
