Okay so as most of you have noticed, I haven't been around here on Sorrow in quite a bit of time. I just don't feel his muse and as such I think it may be time to just set the blog aside and let it alone.
I've had a blast writing for Sorrow here but something just isn't there anymore and I can't pinpoint it and promise it'll change. Just as he moved on, I probably should too but each one of you have been a blast to write with. I thank you all for allowing me the chance to flesh out a character I didn't even know when I started roleplaying him.
If you guys want to find another sorrow, there's a wonderful one here you can check out and I encourage you all to take a look at their blog. Fantastic material right there.
A picturesque family.
the sorrow and the joy
@thesxrrow
It was suppose to be a simple mission extract the opposing commander for interrogation nothing so hard for the boss and the sorrow it could be classified as a warm up mission. as the boss about to engage the mission they got a frantic warning about a snowstorm coming their way and to the leave the area and abort the mission.
It had been an easy operation until the distress signal came in about the storm. That caused tactics to shift from continuing the mission into aborting it until better weather came about them to handle it. While he could have made it work despite it all, he knew it was best to drop it to keep themselves alive should the blizzard become worse as it headed in their direction.
"We should be able to find some sort of shelter if we get moving now before it can impact against us." he murmured.

Hrghhrghrghh Headcanon The Sorrow feels every wound on a battlefield and canât differ between his own physical pain and the pain others did suffer from, so sometimes he is on the edge of death because of forgeting about his own wounds.
Also headcanon that he always spends time on the battlefield and does not make any difference between his men and those he killed himself.Â
Based on the Devils advocates panpinecone talk
hes beauty, hes grace, theres blood running down his face
I have this headcanon that The Sorrow visited little Mantis in the research institute.
Top 20 Metal Gear Solid characters [x]
â Battle brings death. Death brings sorrow. The living may not hear them. Their voices may fall upon deaf ears. But make no mistakeâ the dead⊠are not silent. â

Taking the water bottle in his hands it didn't take long before the cap was off, taking a very much needed drink before his attention fell on his father again. "I can make you a bunch of other things to help you too father!" Even if it would end the same way as the bag when he made it, covered in sewing pin holes and various other things.
Leonid merely smiled to his son and couldnât help the proud look on his face. He was indeed proud of the boy across from him and knew he would do well as he grew older. âIâm sure you can but I donât want you overdoing it to hurt yourself either, okay?â
Mick was sensitive when it came to being touch, the gentle approach was appreciated and while he flinched or gave a whimper a few times Leonid didnât cause much discomfort. The boy merely anticipated pain to follow each touch because that was really what he knew when he had wounds. They hurt, and touch hurts them more. Once he was fixed up he looked up at Leonid and paused for anymore treatment that may follow.
There was none, so he puts the shirt on his scrawny body and appears to be feeling a little better than he was. At least someone cared. âT-thank you, Leo.â He said, a nervous smile following while he looked up at the man beneath his dark locks.
Leo nodded toward him and managed a light smile back to try and remain calm and sincere around the boy. He would require a lot of patience to mend properly on his part to get a solid relationship with someone, and he needed a lot of food and time to get back to proper weight and strength.
"You are quite welcome, Mick. I wish I could do more but when you are ready someday down the line, maybe you can help me do that to those that hurt you like this."
He wanted to figure out just why the boy had to go through needle treatments and beatings in a facility so far out in the middle of nowhere around people. It was unacceptable in his eyes and Leonid sighed before adjusting his glasses. He moved from in front of Mick to walk toward a desk where he opened a drawer to remove a book from it. Carrying it over, he settled once more across from Mick where he opened the hard cover of the book to remove a small piece of paper to him showing he hadn't been much bigger than Mick at the age the boy was at.
"I was small too, but I found out at your age I had a gift no one else understood. I went through doctors and psychologists before people finally believed I wasn't insane from what I could see or hear. I was able to deter the ones who were looking for you away because of that gift."
Mick didnât want to do that and his face set into a frown when Leonid turned away. Well, adults rule over him always so he does as he is told despite being a little finicky about it. He slid off the gown and then started putting on the clothes. Everything but the shirt is put on.
âUhm. Okay, turn.â He settled onto the cot once more and looked up at Leonid. The kid is covered in bruises, not from beatings, but from needles and what not. The crooks of his arms especially where blood had been drawn and some rub marks from being restrained. Said marks are pinched at a little bit by the boy who frowned at them and always scratched at these rather obsessively. He thought, maybe if he scratched hard enough they would go away. Doing this also hurts so he is quite conscientious on how he picks at them. âOwâŠâ He mumbles a bit. His back looks like itâd been scraped when he fell, some old scarring, but nothing too bad.
Leo patiently waited until the boy felt comfortable to say something. Turning, he shifted to move in with the med kit to take a gander over him. The sight he saw with the lad's skin made him feel anger beneath his cold face. He wanted to know why the child had been tortured in such a fashion but moved a hand to disinfect the areas of cuts before bandaging trouble spots which included the areas Mick picked at. His back was a different story as he looked it over.
"Nothing is broken but you have endured quite a lot. I am sorry you were put into such a position, Mick. Needles are never fun." He was gentle with his touch where it was needed and added a thick banadge to the scrape along his back before stepping back and nodding. Â "You can put your shirt on now."
The medical work was finished and now all that was left was allowing Mick time to heal and get used to the surroundings.
The trash can pretty well snatched as soon as he had a reason for throwing up. He tucked his head in and made some pretty god awful noises while trying to alleviate his stomach. The meat comes up, some bile, nothing else. He shuddered and put the trash can down and looked apologetic that he had thrown up what Leonid went and got for him. âSorryâŠâ He said, this time he eats a little slower, everything turned into mush before swallowing bits at a time. He found it helped so much better.
When he was feeling up for it he took sips of the water bottle, after making sure the cap hadnât been open of course, and soon screwed the cap on and sighed with a slight hum.  It was a noise of content. âUhm⊠can you look away so I can⊠you know, change?â He asked and looked up at Leonid.
When it was asked for him to look away when the boy wanted to change, Leonid moved to and did just that letting the boy have some privacy without watching eyes. "Leave your shirt off for the time being though. I want to check your back for any cuts and for any possible things amiss. Once I check that, you can put it on, okay?"
He kept his back to the boy as he changed and moved to eat a bit of food himself that he had brought. His rations were smaller but he was all right with it as he could go and get more while the boy needed the food to settle himself. It would take time for him to get strong again and for his stomach to heal.
