When several guests at a Bucks County bed-and-breakfast fall into unexplained catatonic states—after claiming to hear music ringing in their ears—Mulder and Scully trace the phenomenon to nearby Ringing Rocks County Park, where certain boulders produce clear, bell-like tones when struck. Staying at a quaint inn run by two aging hippies, the agents endure awkward hospitality, doily-covered décor, and a shared room where Mulder’s stuck sleeping on the floor. Over eggs and strong coffee, the owner describes the park as if “God himself emptied his bag of marbles onto the Earth.” After spending the better part of a morning hammering seemingly every rock in the park, Mulder suspects a centuries-old poltergeist once called Lithobolia — the stone-throwing devil — has returned. Scully suspects a headache.

STILL (2017)

When a group of urban explorers livestream from a long-abandoned mall and never return, Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate. Following the explorers’ digital trail, the agents descend into a space where hallways loop, storefronts repeat, and reflections don’t behave. Somewhere between the escalators and the service corridors, time seems to misfire—fountain water hangs in midair like glass, uneaten burgers at the food court are warm to the touch but taste like nothing at all. As Mulder embraces the idea of a liminal zone—an architectural glitch between realities—Scully finds herself face to face with a version of her past, distorted and unfinished. Suspended in a place outside of time, they find the chance to talk about the things that still matter.
