I'm always good for dressing up tater tots, it's pretty rare for me to serve them plain. Tonight was a new level tho - tots with chili crisp. Freaking a that was so good

Working from home today because the plumber is coming for the second day in a row and M was here for him yesterday.

Except I was planning that today I would finally get the coffee treat I was wanting all week, and my motivation for actually getting anything done is. Pretty low. So, no treat and not a lot of work getting done.

Hopefully the plumber is able to figure out why we have sewer gasses leaking into our basement, And can fix it

M was supposed to be at a work event a long ways away and wasn't planned to get back home until later, so I thought I would have solitude and could indulge in floor time without observation or comment but instead he got home an hour before me. So I didn't get to do that and I wish I did.

I of all people, proudly adverse to nostalgia, I really ought to know better.

That you can't go back, that even if you do it won't be the same, that the magic of the first unplanned experience cannot be replicated.

As it should be.

So don't go back expecting to find that.
