I think what makes me happy about the landing is not only the landing itself, but the fact that we're all celebrating it together. one of the greatest thing about the chandrayaan landing has been the sheer excitement that every indian on this site and even irl is currently showing. like i have seen so many tags of people going "my indian friend told me about this" or "my indian colleague posted a story" or "my indian mutual was posting about this!!" and it's such a heartwarming feeling. cause atm all of us are literally just waving little tricolors while jumping with joy and telling everyone around us to come look at this thing our country did. 😭

everyone celebrating india's mission to the moon's south pole i love you and im with you but this is NOT india's first accomplishment in space!! im seeing a lot of people saying that but its not true. some other things we've done:

confirm the presence of water and ice on the moon

was the first asian nation to reach mars orbit, and the first nation IN THE WORLD to reach it in it's maiden attempt

saved thousands of lives from cyclone phailin in 2013 over the four days, resulting in 45 deaths when without them, would have been in the thousands at minimum

launched the first successful flight using the indigenous cryogenic engine

successfully neutralized a satellite in space with an anti-satellite (mission shakti, anyone?)

launched 104 satellites with one (1) rocket

THE VIKAS ENGINE??? HELLO?? NAMBI NARAYANAN??? even if you didnt know him before, surely youve seen the movie rocketry?

not to mention everything we've done in coordination with other nations, and achievements from Indian scientists and astronauts that were then taken by other nations, usually during war. plus, we've always been much more cost efficient than our space-faring peer nations

all to say!! we've always been there, and we've always been strong. our mission now only proves that, and we should scream it loud and proud for any westerner who ignores us again

I'd imagine it'd be more of a slow burn

After his divorce he didn't wanna rush things

And also probably becuase of the press

So for a while he'd not say anything about his feelings

It might be difficult to tell if Ted likes you, just because of his personality

You'd start off as friends

But slowly it would develop into something more

One day you helped him with his panic attack

And he realized that he loved you

Beard would probably be the only one to tell for a bit

He'd knowingly glance at you and Ted like 👀

Keeley and Rebecca would soon tease you whenever they see you and Ted talking

Some members of the team would slowly catch on

There'd be a lot of awkward but funny moments between yall

For a while nothing happened, and that frustrated both of you

So you just told each other one night

You agreed you'd try to keep it under wraps for a while

It wasn't easy, but you love Ted, and he loves you

You didn't expect to fall in love with Ted, but you couldn't help yourself
