Artist of the Month: Rebecca Castañeda
My name is Rebecca Castañeda, I am twenty years old, and I am from a little city in Southern California, Norco--Horsetown. Some of my favorite hobbies include: playing piano (i've been playing the past eight years), I like crocheting scarves for my friend's year-round, they call me an old lady but it relieves stress, I love reading specifically right now one of Edgar Allan Poe's short stories, "The Black Cat." I am currently working and I am a student. I work at my parent's restaurant in Fullerton, California, El Camino Real Mexican Food. I am currently attending community college for business marketing and managing, and I will be transferring to San Diego State University.
I have been part of The Technicolors street team for about a year and a half now, my favorite part is engaging with all the street teamers from around the world. I think it's cool how we're not that big, but we have people engaged from all over the world--like Brazil! The missions get us involved and it's amazing seeing The Technicolor's grow.
I went to a Maine concert a while back, and I didn't really know too much about The Technicolors. As I was walking in a guy opened the door for my friends and I, and we told him thank you, and how kind he was. Once the concert started The Technicolors go on I saw the guy who opened the door also was on stage, IT WAS NICO. We thought that was super cool. After that we were talking to Nico, how we've never heard them before and how blown away we were, and he goes, "You liked us? Go join out street team!" That's what we did the next day, and I enjoyed being part of the street team ever since. I just love how they're sweet dude's off and on stage, and they actually engage with fans after shows. Legit, once they finish their set they go into the crowd with everyone and enjoy the rest of the show.

Teamer of the Month: Caroline Dias
First of all, I'm from Brazil. I'm actually in college, getting a law degree. I really like going to concerts, listen to good music and be with my cats (I have 3). I think that as a hobby I really like to read and to write some stuff. I made a lot of friends being part of the 8123 fam. I met my best friends because of The Technicolors. I think that is the most important part: connect people and make memories. I wish it never stops.
What's your favorite part about being on the collective?
I've been part since December/15. But I've been more active in the new collective. I really like being an artist in the new plataform. I like to see a picture and my mind start thinking about what songs could I use this image for. But I also like what I had with the base missions. The best part is when someone comes and say to you "hey I listened to that band you told me about and I loved them."
What's your favorite memory involving The Technicolors?Â
I cant choose between two moments. First, The Technicolors (actually, just Brennan) opened for The Maine at the Brazilian Candy Tour. I remember looking at him in the middle of the concert and thinking how someone could do that much all by himself and be confident like that. I think that the power that Brennan had in that concerts was what made me wanna know more about the band. The second moment was when I was just hanging around on twitter and Nico talked to me, genuinely happy and interested in what I was talking. That was even different of what I had with The Maine in 8 years being at the fandom. It was really special.Â
