I don't think I've been open about what's been happening in my personal life for the past two years, but it's led me to the point where I'm finally caving and asking for more help and support.
I don't want to get into the thick of it here, but I explain it a little more on my donation page I set up here. Long story short, something traumatic and horrific happened to my partner around 2.5 years ago that had massively derailed our lives in just about every way possible—mentally, physically, financially, and so on. I've been able to keep us afloat as we try to build things back up and find stability again, but I just can't do it alone anymore, and am finally at the point where I need to be candid about what happened and the state of things in our lives.
At the moment, the most pressing concerns are paying off debts incurred from my partner's trauma therapy bills, as well as raising enough money to enter treatment for my own worsening mental and physical health issues. A lot of that has been put off for years out of necessity but is now hitting a critical point where I can no longer cope. I work two jobs and run a business, and yet at this time my physical and mental health is impairing me from thriving and doing any of these jobs properly, and I'm at risk of imploding completely unless I'm able to get some proper mental health help, as well as hopefully treatment for chronic fatigue/pain issues that have been deteriorating since 2022/2023.
