Talking about my professional project
Here I am, it's time to make a point on this Tumblr, and my future orientation for the professional project. Looking back to what i've shared with you since several months, I went here and there, talking about many different things and in many fields. But looking closer to all that material, my personnal thinkings, and my envies; I want to suggest differents tracks. I noticed that I was interested in photography, and the use of the image, her role, what did she evokes, and the message she sends. I also thought of the city, since I live here in Rouen, I learn to love her again, to take what she give us, and to give her much more attention. The textures, the peoples who walk, the noises, the lights, the shadows, and everything that nobody give attention because you know "It's the city, it's dirty, it's noisy ..." Even talking about art in the streets is interesting, but without fall into a "Street Art" or a "Graffiti" subject. No, just looking to what people have to say, or how they take ownership of the city, the street, the way they approach. Because there are everything in the city, us, buildings, la nature, various objects, and old constructions. Drooping walls, ruins, abandonments, just things that nobody wants to have to face, yet there is beauty in each of them, their origin, their experiences, their memories, and what they look like now, after the passage of time. The modern architectures can dream of their technical and aesthetic work. But a wasteland will have much more to tell us and teach us. Indeed, there is usually nobody in, what to impregnate the place, its atmosphere and what it emerges. And I will also say that we can consider the city like an open-air gallery, something free, who will always have things to shared, things to show, to surprise us, regardless our social level. Because expression liberty is in us, communication must take all its importance, all its values, in all its forms. And you, what do you think ? How do you see the city in our society ?
