Some lovely hand lettering at the Princess Alexandra pub. Shame I've no idea who the artist is.

Waiting for the day to end.
I was lucky enough to get down to the Heart of Gaming in London this weekend to check out their cabs. More importantly I got to play Space Moth, the game my friends Dan and James made, on a real arcade cab! It's a great game and I'd recommend anyone to pick it up from their website (it's not expensive). You can find it here: 1cc Games
Antibody / Patrick Clare
I first became aware of Patrick Clare's work through his short animation detailing the Stuxnet computer virus. His work with kinetic type and motion graphics has a tight, clinical aesthetic to it which really appeals to me. He excels at finding interesting, visually beautiful ways to depict information, creating wonderful moving infographics which are at once playful and serious. This is the kind of work I hope to produce in my career, typography based but utilising illustration and cinematography also. To me, creating these types of motion graphics allows the designer the most creative potential. Sound, movement, time and composition all play a part in the final piece, as oppposed to say print work which is static by nature.
A23D: A 3D-Printed Letterpress Font Holy cow now this is really something, combining old an new technologoy to great efffect. I definitely need to find someone with a 3D printer.
Type Safari
Best thing I've seen in ages! Shout out to my buddy Tommy Crack for putting me on to this. Just wish it was longer!
Felipe Pantone
Pantone is one of my favourite artists. Blurring the lines between design, graffiti, geometry and calligraphy, he has more fresh ideas in a month than many have in their whole career. His recent work has focused on glitches and retro colour paletttes mixed with contemporary typography and design.
5Boro Skateboards - VHS Series
Loving these decks from 5Boro which are all based on covers from blank VHS tapes from the 80's and 90's. I got a real hit of nostalgis from the Scotch and Maxwell rip offs! I think they should give you a replica sticker with each one so you can write the name of the film or TV show you recorded on it, just like back in the day...
Taking part in that popular weekend men's sport, standing around in Debenhams looking bored and awkwardly holding a handbag.
Dabbling with a new pen.
