I don't think I am superior becuase I am asexual. Sexual people have gone out of their way to assert that they are superior to me despite having the entire world to express that. And THOSE people are disgusting to me. And I do feel superior to disgusting people who cannot keep their hands and expectations to themselves.

As an asexual, I was always outside of the game. I'll watch, but idont play. And this is what I have seen:

The internet is an excellent partner. Now that the internet is always acessible and available, it's a constant and valuable regulating tool. More consistent than a human could ever be. This is not the internet of 20 years ago that was spotty and you had to download to have stuff offline. This Is a CONNECTION and serves very well as one. More than one. I love the internet. Even as it goes mad with corruption I still love it. I want to learn how to navigate it better. I see many other people living and growing this way happily.

But the old world, the people who made their lives before the internet became a reliable tools etc, they are BIG MAD that their world is being replaced completely. And there's nothing they can do to stop it. So they are throwing tantrums like toddlers.

And you know what? We all get to ignore them or laugh and still choose ourselves. We younger gens are not dating or drinking or having reckless sex anymore and that is a good thing! We are using the information to grow instead of being reckless animals! We are smarter and more adaptable and the bitter generations are jealous. Let them be jealous.

The survival skills from youth kind of suck when the skills you do need to live in modern society are, in fact, not wilderness shit.

Yay I can fillet fish and make a fireboard but I can't sit still or make the correct facial expressions around people. I can't taste or smell most of the time, this makes food more fuel than anything. People want to get together to eat and I can't enjoy it. And for the record fireboards are slow and they suck, just always carry a lighter or matches.

i DO believe that a good writer can make mischaracterization work. oh there's a character who doesn't normally cry? figure it out!! disect the character. make the situation cryable for them. make that character cry ugly tears even if it goes against their very nature. YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK!!!

Ehlers danlos is having to cut my nails off immediately rn becuase I just scratched to close to my eye and the nail was longer than expected so now I'm going to have one itachi face eyebag thing for a bit. Waaaay too close yo the eye though. Just tore off half the long healthy nail becuase those grow back. It was a decent nail sigh.

I know from the outside it looks like a privilege, but I truly truly hate cottage country people and that whole environment. I smelled a whif of gas and was reminded of the reek of boat engines and the damp cold of the woods and I love love love the subway I rode today. It was filthy and my coffee exploded in my bag on the way home but fuckit my phone is sitting in rice and bag is hanging and I am SO glad to not be spending summers like that ever again. I am warm and I have internet and I have my smokes and my anime and my fics and my art.

I am never leaving the fucking city. I hope they turn those forests of my youth in pto fucking megacity one! I hated to cold, the bugs, the drunk adults and their stupid violent toys like guns and atvs. Every year someone got injured so badly. And everyone was taken to the hospital, except me. I was told to walk off two cracked shins.

I love not drinking. I love not driving. I love my tonkatsu ramen and solid walls. I love not sharing a tent or a trailer or one big room. I barely ever slept. Between the bugs and the animals and the people snoring I never slept. I am triggering myself now. Fuck those times. I would rather be a city stripper than leave the city ever again.
