Madatobi AU where Tobirama doesn't have anything to say in particular but he *does* want to talk so sometimes in the lull between work and daily life he'll randomly send Madara a messages about nothing in particular.
"This table is driving me insane."
"What color is it?"
"Yellow."
"I'll bet it'll look good on fire."
Was thinking about this again and how ready Madara is to tend to every one of Tobirama’s needs but Tobirama would rather die than admit when he wants something so Madara spends a lot of time watching him and learning all of his facial expressions, until he can interpret even the smallest twitch in Tobirama’s cheek.
