"Hey Porter, I reckon yer the educated type right? What'cha know bout the Sierra Madre?"
"Sierra Madre?" The runaway blinks, as if trying to recall where she had heard that name from. She ponders it for a moment, and then gives a sharp snap of the fingers. "Pre-war casino. Somewhere within Nevada. Real big hype about the place, but it never openedâŠOr if it did, the bombs fell before anybody could really enjoy it. Probably nothing more than a graveyard by now, I suppose."
"Well, itâs the only lead we got." And with that, Porter adjusted the strap for her rifle. "If weâre gonna do this, weâll need some supplies, and weâll need to get there pretty quick. If this is a large broadcast, we might not be the only ones showing up."
"Aight, we should go as fast as we can then, what kinda supplies ya think we need then? If I âmember right, itâs in the middle oâ the Mojave somewhere..We need lots oâ water, and rad-x." Josephine held up her hand, ticking her fingers down as she listed off things they might need.Â
"Weapons too, but I'm sure neither of us will forget that. I got some medical supplies stored up, so that'll come in handy, just in case." She gave a stern nod of the head. "Let's meet back here in a couple hours. That way we won't have to walk there in the hot sun. Sound good?"

"Sounds like the original broadcast. Back when they were opening up the Casino. Thatâs whatâs weird." She scratched at the back of her head. "Something like that shouldnât just pop up out of the blueâŠIt would have already been around for awhile." That meant two things. There was some sort of change that allowed the original signal to reach airwavesâŠor someone got their hands on the original broadcast and was broadcasting it nowâŠright? Porter chewed on her bottom lip. It was a strange situation indeed. "Whereâd it lite up?"
"Thatâs kinda what I was thinkinâ bit strange." She turned the dial flipping over to the map. "It was this part here." She pointed to a marker a little ways away from the Legion camp. "An abandoned bunker, think it could hold a clue or somethinâ? I mean might as well check it out." Josephine glanced at Porter, trying to think. Maybe people had used the bunker as a hide out, or thats where the frequency was coming from, but she wasnât entirely sure. Jo was clueless when it came to that kind of technology.

Porter leaned herself forward, inspecting the wrist-latched device as the signal began to play. Her brows furrowed, focusing on each wordâŠand replayed the signal again, just to take it in one more time. âThatâsâŠweird. When did you get this signal?â
"My radio had changed off the New Vegas station, and flippinâ through tryna find it, I found this instead..Sounds like a woman callinâ ya, donât it?" She looked over at Porter, turning the volume up ever so slightly. "Cause..when I found this, an area of my map lit up.."

((AAAA- Sorry this is a late response!))
In her short time entering into the regions of Zion, there had been a fascination brewing in the back of her mind. The land felt untouched, virgin and fruitful, separated from the contagion of radiation. It was pleasant, a good...
God's land, huh? She refrained from quirking a brow. A religious man? That was rare...and maybe she tensed as well at the word war. That would be an inconvenience for travel, but it also explained the various paintings that coated the sides of the mesas and ridges. It had been easy to shrug off, but it was just as much a warning as graffiti left behind by unorganized raiders.
âWhite Legs? The ones up by Salt Lake?â Her expression betrayed confusion. That was quite the distance away from Zion. Porter was far from an expert on the tribe...but at one point, her father before her had traveled. Traveled along the whole length of the Four States Commonwealth and into the western territory of the Bear. Told stories about it from time to time, and Porter had a good enough memory to recall them. Was the tribe that desperate for supplies that they would travel such great lengths?
Porter gave the bandaged man a small nod of the head. âThank you. I'll gladly accept the offer. I'm with the Followers, so I'll be more than able to repay the favor.â With talk of slaughter, surely that must mean there was wounded.
