Of Faith and Hope

I must admit.  I actually thought I've mastered the art of just being jolly.  All the time.  No matter what situation.             Life serves you things on a silver platter one day, then hits you with a hard blow the next.  I thought I've learned to accept that it isn't good all the time pero hindi pala.  Well, at least not for now.  Lately, I've been questioning it.  Despite the hardwork - sweat, blood tears, it's been cruel.  And it sucks.      Currently at this phase of wanting to give up but I know I just won't.  (I'm sure you all have been in this position before too.)  It is tough.  But I simply am just not the type to raise the white flag on anything that appears to be hopeless.  That I guess is just the way I am built.        For now, I am holding on to something that I cannot physically hold on to - FAITH.      FAITH is what keeps me breathing.  It's what keeps me living.  It is what keeps my sanity intact.  It is what will restore things to how I believe it would be, hope it to be or maybe learn how to make lemonades out of these.      I am tired.  More than the physical, for now, it's mental.  Battlefield, mind.      Then, just right at this moment, Gary V's concert plug played.  It said, "Arise."  Just told me that just like the phoenix, I will rise through these ashes.               End of story.  I hope.  Really hope.      I just hope I really do before I get completely exhausted.  I am human afterall.  Inspite, still human.      And then again, there's FAITH.
