What's the most "in character" Sherlock you've read in Sherlolly fanfiction.?

First thing I read. Endlessly devoted to it. 

Pretty much solidified my position as a shipper.

Anyway, ‘in character’ is different for folks in general. Some might agree with me, some might disagree, etc etc. It’s person to person most cases. Even ones own mood can influence what people find ‘in character’. Some of my earliest fan-fiction that I wrote I remember thinking ‘this is so in character’, and then a year or two later going ‘f noo’. Much depends on the reader really.

"I know.  I was there, remember?  If you think you’re being funny or helpful, you’re mistaken," Sherlock replied sharply.  Only then did John finally get himself under control.

First of all- I love everything you write. Secondly, I have this headcannon that if/when Sherlolly happens, Sherlock's disdain for the term 'girlfriend' would gleefully be used against him by all he knows and loves...except his Mum. I feel like she'd just refer to Molly as her daughter-in-law and play deaf if anyone argued with her about it.

She doesn’t believe him, it’s obvious on her face, but she doesn’t argue either. It’s the fact that Molly knows him too well that seems to allow this moment to take place, the deep breath before he is face to face with another running commentary.
