He waited for the entity to get a bearing of what he assumed was a new form, and probably one that was still unfamiliar to him at that. Though he figured that a billions-years-old paracausal mechanical being that’s only ever have the form of a big floating ball would have trouble adjusting to balancing on two legs…
The form holds a hand out to him and for a moment he hesitates, his own hovering for a moment before he stepped forward once and gently shook it. He looks– No, feels… Bright? Feels bright and warm. Very much so. It’s almost BLINDING, like hovering your hand over the rays of the sun, but then again he also found it… Contenting. Any doubts were surely swept away in that moment and bright green optics shifted into something that displayed a smile of sorts.
“It’s a beautiful night now, because of the Light.” Voice now loosens into something calmer and his hand falls away for the time being, though his fingers still fidgeted together as they usually did. “There’s scars, but… Scars heal. Time heals.”
He nearly comes forward again to help the entity stand on his feet when he staggered again, glancing down to the new legs in question, it was almost like a new child learning how to walk and keep balance. A part of him found it almost… Amusing? That’s the closest word he can think of.
“… Do you, uh–” He had to pause for a moment as a gentle chuckle lit up green in his throat, even with all the reasons he still wasn’t expecting the humanoid forme of a practical GOD to have trouble keeping on his feet. “I mean, I guess I can try ‘n help, if you want.”
“ You guardians and many of the civilians had part in helping. If it wasn’t for those giving aid, many others would have lose their lives. ”
His head bowed in THANKS. Eyes shutting momentarily before they opened once more. Slowly, and he smiled. “ Thank you.. I would very much like the help, but I do not wish to burden you. I’m sure you’re very busy. ”
It was true. His words. He had difficult time walking and help was something he did need.. but if this guardian was to be busy, he wouldn’t stop him. There was much to do now that the city was saved. A lot of rebuilding. A lot of SAVING still to be done... and a lot of resurrecting of new guardians.
His balance was steadied once more. His smile remaining. Kind, genuine. Despite the EYES he could feel on him from those who passed or peeked around corners.
“ I need someplace to go. Somewhere to gather my thoughts. Get use to this new form. To watch and learn from you guardians and your civilians that reside here. ”
Doing all this however will take some time.. and there was many many questions to answer. Rumors to dismiss and facts to confirm. “ I need to set up a meeting. As your speaker use to do. At least with your Vanguard. ”
