Are things tense bts for people? Since that article and now JBs W one (he was lovely and I think that one is a grace to SL because of how warm he is about the show) I can’t help but think it must all be so tense and on edge especially. with NC and the shows clear bias. My colleague was on set (I was on another project) around that time and things had been rough. Jonathan and Simone won't be in s4 much and it's more of a retaliation than anything.
Reblogging this because I've had a lot of messages about the trailer. I said this last year, Simone and Jonathan will barely be in this season and I've said this for a while now.
Just curious, do you think the reason nicola will have more scenes this season than the previous leads would, is because she can't book any big jobs lately or would shonda still want to include her a lot regardless of her schedule?
That and Shonda loves Penelope because she see's herself as Penelope. She loves a good (or bad) self-insert.
how active will Penelope be? Will she have a whole subplot or will she be supporting Benedict and Sophie in some way?
She will be heavily involved in the season. I can't give details but Penelope fans will be very happy.
I find it very interesting that S3 pick up wins at the Creative Arts Emmys after all the criticism on the hair and makeup. That seems awfully fishy. Shonda couldn't influence wins at the main awards so she settled for that?

I have heard some rumours that Nicola has been behind some of the Deux Moi anons and blinds that have been putting down her people of colour costars, specifically Rege Jean Page and Simone Ashley.
Do you know if this is true, or if you don’t know do you think it is possible it is true based on what you know of her?
I don't know if it's true but given what I've personally seen of her (my own professional experience) I wouldn't be surprised. She's the reason why Regé was blacklisted for years after s1 and tried the same with Simone Ashley. It's interesting she doesn't do this to other cast members isn't it?
Is Shonda confused by the lack of anything significant booked by Nicola and the exact opposite from other cast members, most especially the two she seems to despise?
Nicola will always have a job with Bridgerton so because she isn't booking anything doesn't really concern Shonda from what I've seen/heard. Nicola's attitude bts is a big reason why she's barely booking anything.
Have you seen the s4 spoilers? Are they true from your sources?
Yes, I've seen some of the spoilers from that person. I don't know if they've posted more since I last saw, I just woke up.
I don't know anything about S4 past what that person posted. I don't know anyone personally, who's watched part 1. And I don't know if they're true.
We'll all know in a month and a half when the season comes out if they're true.
But I will say, per Tulip.... That Netflix is apparently aware of the leaks and will apparently be 'restricting access' (I assume for people who had/got access? IDK) soon, so make of that what you will re. if they're true or not.
just to add, my day has been hell because of these leaks and those pictures will be used to help find who’s account they came from and that person will be blacklisted for upcoming releases
Spoilers have leaked and despite Jonathan and Simone having filmed during part one it appears that they have been cut entirety. Is it possible Simone was cut from this season entirely leaving only a brief appearance from Jonathan so Shondaland and Netflix can clout chase?
remember when filming began and I said Kanthony would be more reduced? People didn’t believe me but time tells.

The promo will be barely nothing. They'll probabaly start properly about 4 weeks before the show airs but don't expect Benophie to be "front and center"
Shonda keeps saying over and over that there will be 8 seasons and each sibling will get their story. Is she just posturing or is there some kind of guarantee that all 8 books will be "adapted"?
There's no gaurntee and it was a battle to get s5 & 6. Given they'll take about four years to come out, the fanbase and general audiences will be moving on, season 3 already turned off a lot of general viewers as did splitting it up in parts.
Was S3 the reason that Bridgerton got S5&S6? Some seem to think so, but if that was the case wouldn’t it have been announced earlier than it was? It just seems that certain fans want to claim S3 are the reason for a lot of things that it isn’t actually the reason for.
No, but S3 is the reason why the announcement was late. S1 and S2 are the reasons for all future seasons. Certain fans can claim what they want, but it's not true.
What were the actual reactions within SL and Netflix to this latest global celebration of Jonathan Bailey?
The plan was to all but ignore it, vaguely relate it back to Bridgerton but they were cautious because they had pissed off a lot of companies.

I've been working on other projects but I will say that the Bridgerton press team has been decreased.
Been hearing people say that we won’t get a press tour with Luke and Yerin visiting multiple countries for s4. Is this true???!! That annoys me if true because why would they go all out for s3 and then not continue for future seasons.
I've said this for about a year now. The s4 press run is going to be more like s2 but slightly better treatment for the "leads" but not by much.
I have a general question not specific to Bridgerton.
Who decides when trailers are released, the production company or Netflix? For example with Bridgerton, is it Shondaland or Netflix that decides when the trailer or any of the promotion releases?
Netflix, they have in house PR that runs that stuff and then they outsource another PR company to help with press interviews, screenings etc.
