You know that feeling you get when you know you’re seeing a place for the last time? Like when you’re moving from your childhood house or roaming your high school’s hallway for the last time, you take extra time to memorize the details and feeling of that area. I wish I would have known that night would have been my last with you. Maybe I would have held you a little bit tighter and kissed you a little bit longer. Maybe I could have looked long enough into your eyes for you to feel a sting in your chest for lying to me so long. I wonder, did you pay extra attention when you touched me that night? Knowing that it’d be the last time, did you memorize that moment?
