Can't seem to stay out of the Conservatory Gardens. #ILoveNYC (Taken with instagram)
I almost died of retro love the first time I spotted this shop.
via fantasticamazing:
83rd + Lex
Spotted: Steve and Carolyne, delicately arranging pottery, porcelain, and dishes at the Upper East Side antiques shop, Bardith. Located at E. 72nd and Madison, the shop was recently featured in the New York Times. Among its customers: Mayor Michael Bloomberg. If it's good enough for him -- then it's probably too good for me.
Spotted: Ohmigosh, it's a store that sells dollhouses! Tiny DollHouse is located at 314 East 78th St. NY Mag describes the store:
Looking more like a museum of miniature interior decoration, this quiet shop caters to a good tiptoer with a long attention span and a precocious interest in Architectural Digest. You'll find shrunken croquet and barbecue sets, Persian carpets, and do-it-yourself parquet flooring and Starbucks coffee mugs. As in real life, there's furniture for every budget—from $19 for mini bunk beds to $2,200 for a handmade, Chippendale-style breakfront.

Wish someone had told me before I embarked on this project that business owners and employees aren't into having their picture taken.
Too bad the Clairvoyant shuttered its doors (This storefront was spotted on East 78th St).
Located on 2nd Ave and East 66th St: Madame Paulette. Come for the dry cleaning; stay for the OUTRAGEOUS and AMAZING window displays.
via dianediem:
If need some couture to be dry cleaned, Madame Paulette would probably be a good place to go. How very Upper East Side.
But what really caught my eye were the window displays. Apparently Madame Paulette likes to go out in the woods in her couture and hang out with woodland creatures.
Some of the display is real, some not, probably most not real. While I’m confused by the general theme of the displays, I have to admit I love the tree decor. I also really like that white fur-trimmed skirt suit. I can understand why she’s getting howled at. That’s a really great look.
The turkey is hilarious. So I don’t really have anything I would bring to this place except for my vintage persian lamb fur jacket. Madame Paulette can help with that. Can’t imagine I’d bring this jacket to the local dry cleaners.
Margherita Pizza, Dreamer’s Pizza, Upper East Side, NYC
Yum! From Dreamer's Pizza on 3rd Ave and East 102nd.
Spotted at Fetch: Emma, Brandy, and Sandy the Wonder Dog. Yes, all they are all four-footed friends. And they hang on the walls of Fetch Bar and Grill, located at 3rd Ave. and East 92nd St.
Restaurant patrons are encouraged to bring in framed pics of their pooches to hang on the wall. The restaurant, which serves traditional American fare, is completely decked out in these customer-submitted portraits.
The food here is great; I adore spreading their complimentary homemade chive butter on baguette. Yum!
Spotted at Le Pain Quotidien: The best lunch in town.
A few Le Pains dot the Upper East Side; today's lunch was brought to you by the newly expanded East 88th St. and Lexington location.
I present to you without comment: Pastries; Hot Chocolate; and a Butternut Squash Frittata.
Pricey lunch at East 76th and Madison. Looks tasty!

East Harlem – Sneaker capital of the world
Diamond District – Not as fun as it sounds
Stuyvesant Town – You’ll get lost here if stoned
TriBeCa – Celebrities live here, for some reason
Tarfuto, Divino Restaurante, Upper East Side, NYC
Spotted: Yummy Tartufo in the UES! Divino also makes the best damn manicotti of all time.
Amazing! I'm trying the Lin-Mint Shake this week. Will report back.
Via eyeheartnewyork:
#Lindulgent! The Jeremy Lin Mint Milkshake, at the UES Shake Shack. The second best thing to come from #Linsanity, besides his point total. Lin Linfully delicious! Will Lincrease your waist size! Going to need some Linsulin for this! OK, I’ll stop now with this Linane crap.
Sunday mornings don’t have the hung-over feeling of downtown. People are actually happy to be alive.
