You chuckled a bit when Dave thinks you're joking around and claims he'll punch you. You then start typing away at your next message.

You glance over at the ticket on your desk and smile. Your flight leaves the day after tomorrow and you are quite excited to make his birthday one of the best. But still aren't sure what to get him as a present.

But the big deal right now is how you're going to get to his place from the airport. You really don't want to take a bus and end up missing your stop so you take a chance and ask Dave if he and his bro would be willing to pick you up.

GT: anyways if you don't want a picture i need to ask you something. GT: can you and your bro pick me up from the airport? i don't have any other way of getting there. :(

Looks like John and his taste in REALLY TERRIBLE MOVIES hasn't changed a bit since you last spoke. That's no surprise to you. At this point, you have grown so accustomed to your best friend's horrible taste in movies that you can't imagine a world where he doesn't talk about them all the time. But none of that could stop you from mocking him about it.
