not sure if ur currently active but have u listend to nicks new(?) album yet? Its called event horizons. I havent listened to the whole thing yet (i believe the entire thing is ambient... quite honestly not my cup of tea) just curious what your thoughts on it are?

The original creator of this wonderful fan page is not currently active online. I was s'posed to tend to this blog in their absence and haven’t been doing a great job at that!! sorry ‘corns heads! and sorry it took me one thousand years to see this ask!

Now to answer the actual question. Event Horizons. I personally thought it was nice. I’m not usually one for ambient either but it’s good to listen to in the morning or while drawing or something. I did put it on when I was having trouble sleeping once and it was helpful! I think about the opening track the most. very earnest and gentle :-)

After a fleeting 6 show reunion with The Unicorns in 2014, Nick Thorburn's band Islands simultaneously released what were intended to be their final two albums, "Should I Remain Here at Sea?" and "Taste," on May 13 2016. However, as fate would have it, Islands would eventually re-emerge in 2021 with "Islomania": the definitive beginning of a new era for the band.
