Hey, I've got this one question for you, specifically for you, because I think no one else can answer it any better than you.
So, I heard a little rumor that all problems stem from Nolybab, or at least, someone from or in Nolybab. The enslavement of Mudokons, the near-extinction of Gabbits and Steef, Squeek losing his body, and everything that happened in the "Brutal Ballad" of Fangus Klot, everything, apparently.
Despite them happening from different corporations and conglomerates, like the enslavement of Mudokons being an action made by the Magog Cartel, the near-extinction of Gabbits and Squeek losing his body being an action by the Vykkers, the near-extinction of Steef being an action made by Sekto Springs (and also the Outlaws), and everything that happened to Klot and his people being an action made by the Vamps, the rumor suggests that all 4 of those things happened because of one person in Nolybab who seems to be the one pulling the strings. Is it Lady Margaret? Nope, the rumor doesn't suggest that it's Lady Margaret pulling all the strings despite her being the Glukkon queen, but someone else entirely.
Despite it being just a rumor, what do you think? You think that the rumor is more than true, or something else entirely? Do you think all problems came from Nolybab, or is it something beyond Nolybab?
Ahhh the Nolybab Theory... I was wondering how long it’d take before someone brought this up on my frequency.
Listen close, because this goes deep. You’re not wrong. Corporate atrocities like enslavement, genocide, the Great Steef Cull.. these all trace back to different factions. Magog Cartel, Vykker Conglomerate, the Vamp Bradva, etcetera. But that’s just the surface level.
What if I told you they’re all different fingers of the same corrupted, gloved hand? The truth, fellow thinker, lies beneath the towers, buried under the architecture of Nolybab. Under the city, under the swamp, under the records scrubbed from every Cartel ledger.
You ever ask why every crisis conveniently shifts public attention right when Cartel stocks start to dip? Why Magog PR divisions always have a spin ready, even before the event happens? Why Vykker researchers have patents on diseases that haven’t been discovered yet? It all starts and ends in Nolybab.
There is someone. Not Lady Margaret. She’s a puppet. A queen in name only, used to maintain the illusion of centralized power. But there’s another. An executive so insulated, so elusive, most Glukkons don’t even know their name. I call them The Architect.
Their name has been scrubbed. I have fragments from invoices—projects signed only “A. ████.” They’re not part of any single megacorp because they’re part of all of them. A corporate poltergeist. A data ghost. They've engineered failures, restructured genocides, timed eco-disasters. The rise of the Outlaw mercenaries? Funded. Body loss? Engineered. The Steef? Discredited as feral on purpose. It was all too synchronized.
I have reason to believe (and this is where the slime gets slippery) that this figure is operating from a subterranean executive node beneath Nolybab, known internally as “The Undervault.” Everyone I know who investigated it went missing or silent. One former employee familiar with this Undervault called into my show several weeks ago and left a voicemail that just played a slowed-down loop of "BUY. BUY. BUY."
And if you dig deep enough (and I have) you’ll find weird glyphs. Circular writing. Pre-Mudokon. Alien? Possibly. Eldritch? Likely. There’s a chance this Architect isn’t even native to Oddworld. Or maybe they were once, and they got replaced. A few truth seekers have contacted me informing me that they've smelled something wrong near the east pump lines in Nolybab, where the Spooce grows in spirals and Slogs won’t bark.
Also, I've stopped sleeping. I only nap in 2-minute bursts to confuse astral surveillance. It's working, mostly. Except for when the voices start. But that's beside the point.
So yes. All roads do lead to Nolybab. But Nolybab is just the mask. You peel it off, and what’s underneath is humming. Watching. Waiting. Anyways, more to come soon. Gotta swap out the antennae before the voices start screaming again.
