June 19, 2022 (Father’s Day) - Dad passed away. It was supposed the celebration of laughter but it end up with tears. How am I supposed to celebrate it normal now?

Feb 28, 2025 (My Birth Month) - Mom passed away. I was still enjoying my birth month but who would have though you will be leaving me so soon? We we’re laughing and hugging 2 days prior to your resting day. How would I celebrate my bday thinking ahead the day you left me..

I miss you both.. I am still there.. at the old kitchen, eating with you both. 💔

seeing my old colleagues doing well in other countries. Gonna post this one to remind me that I went to this stage again on my 28th. Praying that time will come, I'll be financially stable and my family. At my own pace. By God's grace, and His perfect timing. In Jesus name. Let your will be done Lord.

What songs did you stop listening to? And why?

From favorites to avoided songs: Most of the songs of Michael Learns to Rock, Take me home country roads or most of the big hits during 80's and 90's.

Why?

During my childhood days I used to hear those songs and became my favorites. I love the relax vibe, peace and at home vibe whenever I hear those songs specially when you are in the province with this "Bukid" or "Palayan" view and the fact that my "Tatang" or Papa is the one who played those songs on the old cassette tapes, then later on.. the cd's.

And now 2023.. I start to hate hearing those songs, not because those songs are bad, no hate guys! - I really love those songs before. It's just it aches my heart a lot. My "TATANG" or papa, He died last Fathers day 2022. And everytime I hear those songs it reminds me everything. Our simple life in Province, our daily meals together and complete family. Those songs reminds me evreything about him. His hardwork, his smile, his love, his palayan.. and everything about him.

Reminding everyone to have a conversation with your parents even about the silliest things, embarrassing moments, your crush, your problems, your bf's/gf's and even your lowest or heartbroken moments. Why?

Once they no longer stay here in this world, you will definitely miss them a lot. It will haunt you more often.. you will regret it..and will make you cry every time you pray to God and hoping that..

• If I knew, I would stare a lot on their face until their faces will remains forever on my memory.

• If I knew, I will hold their hands more often.

•If I knew, I would hug them every day.

• If I knew, I would ask them how was he/she during his teenage days? What are his/her lowest moments? What was their dreams before they have us? before they met?

• If I knew, I will ask them everyday "how was your day?"
