Video- Yelawolf - "Pop the Trunk"

I have been wanting to pass Yelawolf on ever since I heard "Pop the Trunk" (bit scary no?) this summer, but didn't think that anyone would appreciate Bama-raised Yelawolf's grit and style. Then came "Daddy's Lambo". Yealwolf's mixtape Trunk Muzik 0-60 comes out this month and is something that any hip-hop lover should be interested in. White boy/ skater/ tattoo canvas/ kuntry south rapper spits flames, and if you don't like or understand his music, you still have to appreciate his style that took him from homeless to one of the best upcoming artist today. I like this video though because it is def something you don't see on MTV everyday. Here is my favorite "Daddy's Lambo", because apparently Yelawolf has gone from homeless to Lambos?

Dada Life - "Happy Hands, Happy Feet"

This video is insane! While watching I was torn between trying to send it to people and actually concentrating on the subject matter. It reminds me of the love child between a toothless Midwest trailer park "bicycle", and a deranged Juarez wannabe Mexican luchador. And then chaos, that is this video, hits you like a 2x4 across tu boca.

Here is a little dump of some recent dubstep. I seriously think that if speakers/ subwoofers had feelings, they would hate dubstep (just a thought?). Xaphoon Jones is actually the producer for the hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang. Give his stuff a hard look because he has a lot of good remixes, I think this is one of the only dubstep songs he has out right now.

Robyn‘s first new album in 5 years, Bodytalk PT 1, came out last June 8th through her own Konichiwa Records and Interscope, and Diplo said it’s going to be the “album of the year x3″-Anything that Diplo has touched recently is gold. This song- gold, video- gold, Blackberry commercial with Major Lazer- well…, Robyn album of the year- iffy. All that being said I really love this song and the video, so enjoy. "After School Special"

Here is a video I found with a bunch of up and coming hip-hop artist. It includes Cypher from Miami, and some not-so-known artist such as Mayday, J. Nics, and my personal favorite John Payan (if you don't want to watch the video fast forward to 3:28 for his verse) who reminds me of a young Atmosphere.

If that isn't a perfect summation of Curren$y's "Twistin Stank", then Im homeless. Every time I listen to this song I feel like it is high school again, rolling around in a Tahoe with the windows tented way past safe. But with that said, Curren$y has been hanging out and collaborating with Wiz Khalifa a lot lately, which is definitely elevating his "hustle." Love this song, and rapping along with it.

Oren Lavie - Her Morning Elegance

My cousin just showed me this music video, it is a ton of pictures taken back to back in succession in order to tell an entire story in the same bed scene. I tried to stop watching it a couple of times but couldn't because of how interesting it was. Videos can make or break a band, OK GO! and their treadmills video is a perfect example.
