since when the fuck are humans carnivores?? âan organism that derives its energy and nutrient requirements from a diet consisting mainly or exclusively of animal tissueâ last time I checked, humans have been eating a combination of plants and animals for centuries and our closest biological relative/ancestor, the chimpanzee, is an omnivore? if humans are âmeantâ to follow any diet, wouldnât it logically make sense that itâs the same as, if not highly similar to, the species that we share 99% of our DNA with?
Weâre meant to eat meat AND vegetables, itâs not as hard to understand as vegans make it out to be, weâve literaaly been eating cooked meat since we lived in caves, fuck.
Doesnât make it right though
And "meant to" is a subjective term anyway. We can eat a combination of plants and animals, we can subsist on solely plants. It's not about the natural way although other vegans fully hop on that train. It's about a moral and conscious decision to exclude those products from our diets because it causes unnecessary suffering to animals, other people, and our planet.
