Hi all, sorry to be so belated in posting this but this roleplay is going to be closing for now. A member of my immediate family is having severely bad mental health issues right now and needed to be hospitalized for mental health issues and who will now be staying with me while working at recovery. So my time isn’t really my own at the moment. You guys have all been great to roleplay with, thank you for a short but great time.

What about for Pokemon that evolve via items?
If you play along with the radio blog, one of the prizes is an evolutionary stone or item of your choice.
how do pokemon evolutions work?
Pokemon evolutions are based on two things: Activity and Pace. If you’re on and posting fairly frequently then your character is clearly active and working with their Pokemon. And secondly, how far you are into the Pokemon journey. Not everyone is after gym badges, but levels kind of cap out around the same place as wherever the most advanced gym challenger has gotten. So the structure would be something like:
Pre-first gym: Levels 20 and under can evolve
1 Badge: Up to Level 30
2 Badges: Up to Level 40
3 Badges: Up to Level 50
4 Badges: Up to Level 60
5 Badges: Up to Level 70
6 Badges: Up to Level 80
7 Badges: Up to Level 90
8 Badges: All Pokemon
Obviously the latest Pokemon to evolve is Level 64 but that’s kind of the cap. I’ll make a more detailed post about this when I have a little more time in the next few days, sorry for any confusion!

Hey guys! Just a few updates on some admin stuff.
POKEMON CATCHING: Starting right now, I’m opening up Viridian City and Route 2 for spawning. There has been a little bit of confusion about Pokemon catching. Due to lack of clarification on my part when I opened up the locations, I’m going to go ahead and open up Route 21 for swimming for now. However, surfing and fishing are still not available at this point in the game. I will make an announcement when new HM abilities and equipment are open roleplay wide. The other thing I wanted to address is that if I fail to post a spawn on the same day as you send it in, it doesn’t count against your next day’s spawn attempt. I have timestamps turned on so I know that it’s on me and not on you if you try to catch a Pokemon at 9:30PM and I’m already asleep.
ADMIN QUESTIONS: If you guys have questions for me concerning the roleplay, please send them via Tumblr and not via Skype or Discord. If I look at something and the notification goes away but don’t have time to respond, I’m much more likely to forget about it. And I really, really don’t want anyone to feel like I’m ignoring them.

I think she could be from anywhere but I’d choose Kalos, Galar, or Unova. As for specific towns, I think Striaton City, Courmarine City, Turffield, Hulbury, Nuvema Town, or Santalune City could all be great fits.

so you mentioned starter pokemon being under level 10, so can we choose what level (under 10), stats, & moves they have, provided they are realistic?
Yeah, basically you’d have access to those. I’m not super picky about that though, because I’d imagine battling is closer to anime battling where anything goes to a certain extent. Also your starter would begin closer to level 10 but Pokemon level quickly at lower levels so you’d boost pretty fast.
