&&. LUKE
luke doesn’t notice the little figure waddling up towards him until it’s breaching into his space, the small, green critter stirring memories and nostalgia for a time he hadn’t even realized he missed. “yoda?” he asks before really taking a closer look at the creature. it’s not yoda– at least, not the same yoda luke knew, although definitely the same species. same green hue, same big ears, although the eyes are a bit different, and this one seems more… infantile than luke is experienced with, but he crouches down towards it, his hands out gently, a small smile forming on his lips. “hey there, little guy,” he greets the youngling. “what are you doing over here? where’s your parents?”
yoda? why was he hearing that name so often? he was not yoda, but what a nice name. a small fist curled around the hem of the human’s trousers, and the child kept his eyes up at the blond man until he was soon crouching down to somewhat meet his own height. ears perked up and eyes lit a bit more in delight now that he could see the human and the smile on his face. yes, he was good. the child could feel it. he let go of the man’s pants and took a few small steps to get closer - - small green fingers wrapping around luke’s pointer finger and staring at his hand for a second before looking back up to him. it was clear he was on his own out there.
