Being born into a family of powerful witches can have benefit of its own. Devin was from the very beginning well trained and well informed. He had a vast knowledge about the world. Having given enough information, Devin always kept himself above everyone. No, he wasnāt a snob as anyone who just met him might have thought. He just had an intelligent mind that caught even the tiniest of detail.
Growing up, the knowledge increased and the mind became vast. He was a fast learner and could easily catch a trick. But being the third child his powers werenāt as stronger as his elder brotherās were. The fact never fazed him and he kept on training himself to become the best. For him it was simple, the more he trained, the more he gained. And it was gaining the vast amount of knowledge and experience that mattered to him, not the power. The power was always what it was for Kevin, powerā¦ not the means for anything other than end.
After his parents sudden death, things started to become harder on him. It was only the return of Lance that made him stay firm on his footing. Now he had bigger things to do, a family to protect and legacy to continue. He always had a firm belief on it, legacy. It was the reason why he kept himself surrounded by the blue bloods. Leaving Mystic wasnāt something he had on his plan so he was finally glad when they were able to return. It was home for all of them and he wanted his family and friends safe in home, not on a strangers land. Mystic was theirs and would always be theirs no matter what the others believed on.
Devin is quick, smart and witty. He isnāt someone who can get along with just everyone but to the oneās whoāve known him, heās the most entertaining and refreshing companion.
Has always had a protective nature when it comes to his friends or family. He likes to spend some man time with brother Lance but feels closer to Cassie. Sheās his little sister and heād do anything to make her happy. Heād found out during their early ages that she wasnāt one like them. He understands her need to hide the truth but also makes sure she knows from time to time that heād be there whenever she needs him.
The first reaction when he was appointed his parents guardian was āoh hell no!ā. He could only glare at Lance and try distracting himself by keeping his focus on something other than the man in-front of him. Heād never been scared by anyone in his life but from when he was a teen, Michael Bane scared him shitless.
After the loss of his parents he likes to keep in constant contact with his close friend Skylar Van Alen. Sheās easy to be with as heās never in constant requirement to prove himself before her. They share an easy relationship where his job is to make her happy and her job is to be happy, for him.
Paul Weaver is one of his closest friend and Devin enjoys working with him. Both are warlocks who prefer practicing their witchcraft on different levels. Theyāre not scared of experimenting as long as everyone is out of dangers way.
He likes flirting with Bianca Parker, only girl who could keep up with him in any discussion. They could bicker with each other throughout the day and whole night if someone else doesnāt interrupt.
Devin is close to Nick Anderson, Cole Ward and Carter Marshall as the three mostly hang out among the same crowd.
He used to be close to Haley Marshall but growing up changed their mindset completely. He still keeps in contact with her but the connection seems to be lost.
