TAROT TATTOO : ALLISON PAPROCKI & THE SIX OF WANDS

“My blue butterfly tattoo replication of the Victory and Rising Up six of wands butterfly was done by my tattoo artist Colin Higgins who works at Berlin tattoo Kitchener.

I have been gifted the six of wands in many of my readings and it's recurring theme brings me so much joy.

While visiting the Yukon this summer I had the card consistently popping into mind for the entire day. At least ten times it would flash up. That night I took my tarot deck and bundle to the graveyard across the street from where I was staying I created a crystal grid and held my deck to the sun and the moon, which were born visible at the time. I asked my deck to show me the card of the message I am destined to see and with a thorough shuffle and first flip- the six of wands appeared. I shed one tear for it's power; and for where my new wings may take me. <3

Dear All at TWU, “My Name is Naimy and I would like to share the story of my tattoo with you. I've bought The Wild Unknown Tarot Deck about two years ago. I have tarots readings since I was pretty young, and I've started collecting decks as well. Tarots always fascineted me: what appeals me the most, is the fact that they are something with a proper life, and their meanings are always the same, and always change. For about a year I wasn't able to read these tarots: I wasn't able to have a proper connection with them, and this annoyed me pretty much, as I knew it was the Right Deck for me. Time passed, I've tried and I've tried. Then, I have stopped trying. About a year later, I felt the urge to" feel" the deck. I had to touch it, look at it. I was able to connect with it, eventually! I wanted to celebrate this connection, when it started. So I wanted to have a new tattoo. What would it be? At first, it had to be the Star. I took my time, this had to be done without any doubt. Then I knew it: I needed a new start, something that could help me building my life, something that has theenergies to set strong bases of a bright future. The Ace of Pentacles. TAROT TATTOO : CARRIE & THE THREE OF WANDS

“Yesterday I got my second tattoo. In February, I bought my first tarot deck in 20 years and after the first card fell out, I finally knew what my first tattoo would be: the Ace of Wands as drawn by Kim Krans, creator of the Wild Unknown deck. It represented a huge wave of fresh creative energy and since Myrtle had just exploded, it made perfect sense. My art was heading in a new direction and 2015 has certainly been intense. Not all good, not all bad. Just the kind of transformation that rocks you to your core and changes everything, EVERYTHING.

Fast forward to the last couple months and here we are at the end of this crazy year. I kept pulling the three of wands and in the midst of yet another wave of change, I recognized it as a portal. I had come to the realization that anything going forward had to come from me and me alone. That I had to be my own fire. That I have to stop depending on external validation and to tap into that portal of creative magic that is uniquely mine. For me, the three of wands represents this perfectly. It speaks of my magic and of all the possibilities that are swirling around if I continue to fix my awareness there.

It was the perfect mate for my Ace of Wands.

I almost feel like putting these symbols on my skin is activating something beautiful and becoming self fulfilling in and of themselves.

So, let the portal open and give me eyes to see what is possible for 2016. I’m ready.”

“I have only been reading tarot for a year now. The wild unknown is my first deck. I've wanted to read for awhile but I had a hard time choosing a deck. I came across yours and fell in love. I instantly felt connected and drawn to the deck. I was inspired by the minor arcana for these finger tattoos. I knew I wanted all 4 suits and that I wanted them side by side and visible for me to see. I connected with the minor arcana and instantly felt I could relate to all of them. I connect to the Wands the most. That's why on my ring finger I did the ace of wands. I did that to represent new beginnings and growth and to always keep positive high energy like the ace of wands. TAROT TATTOO : REBECCAH & THE THREE OF WANDS

In February, I was going through old stuff from my childhood and ran across a necklace. This necklace belonged to my 19 year old brother who passed away a month before I turned three. I felt an immediate strong connection to his necklace and vowed to wear it everyday. A few days ago, it broke right at the Yin pendant while laying down.

At first, I felt extreme sadness and completely broke down. Fortunately, it quickly hit me that I shouldn't feel sad, but instead thankful. His necklace did its job by guiding me through a very tough spiritual journey.

Two days after it broke, I decided that I wanted the necklace on me permanently along with my favorite tarot card, Three of Wands. Visualizing what I want out of life keeps me strong. It's a huge part of my daily meditation and spiritual journey. The Three of Wands card offers a strong representation of vision. Combined with my brother's Yin pendant, the Three of Wands reminds me to keep chasing my dreams while also seeking and maintaining balance.

Thank you, Wild Unknown. Three of Wands will forever keep my brother's necklace safe while working together to keep the harmony between vision and balance.

It's the Mother of Pentacles from The Wild Unknown Tarot. When I received her she signified my readiness to become a mother. I remember when Drew and I were married I was on the 3 year plan. Well, 3 years came and passed and I still wasn't ready. And then a summer of hardcore marriage struggles, of digging ourselves out of it, of re-learning how to love each other and a deepening of our relationship, lead to my readiness. Being at the lowest of the low and steadily climbing together to get out of it, and reaching the end, and realizing how much we'd grown and how resilient we are as a couple gave me the courage to finally say yes to being a mama. TAROT TATTOO : KATE & SIX OF WANDS "My name is Kate. I've been a fan of your lovely artwork for about a year. I first saw the Wild Unknown tarot deck on various Instagram accounts and thought that your illustrations were stunning! On March 7th (my birthday) a drunk driver crashed into my car head on going about 70 miles per hour. I was air lifted to the nearest hospital and with the help of some great doctors I lived. I was six weeks pregnant at the time of my crash and lost my baby due to trauma. My pelvis was crushed, both of my femurs were broken, both of my knees were shattered and I had a compound fracture in my ankle. Somehow I was not paralyzed. I stayed positive throughout the entire ordeal. I was supposed to be in the hospital for four months at least, but I defeated all odds and four months after the crash I was up walking out of rehab with the help of my family and physical therapists. Once I was back home I ordered your beautiful deck because I needed something to help guide me with my meditations after all that I went through. In the first reading I did with the new deck I pulled the six of wands. I felt it was perfect for me because with strength and determination I rose above the most horrible life experience I hope I ever go through and came out a stronger person. I hope that my story of survival of heartbreak and physical brokenness helps someone else who has to go through anything similar to what I went through. The biggest lesson I've learned this year is that life will happen to you, no matter who you are and time heals all wounds.
