Here’s a sneak peek of my design for @nova_mali ‘s Queer Tarot deck!!! Taking inspiration from the original Rider-Waite card, I’m putting a different spin on the Knight of Pentacles. This little snippet is my favorite part of the card! Luckily for me, Nova and Mali have always been psyched when I find a way to incorporate little ones into my art, so I was extra thrilled to draw this little bean in their cradleboard💕

As promised, the side-by-side 🔮✨

I tried to stay true to the original designs but the traveling one needed to go. I like that it's their everyday outfit with more layers, which certainly makes designing easier, lol

I also like the muted magenta for her hair more, twas a tad too saturated. And I had to loosen up her pose and give it more personality. I was going for curious and sweet

I changed her main outfit too. I couldn't make sense of how it comes together so I separated the garments: over dress, skirt, corset, etc.

The masquerade outfit got an overhaul too. I got inspiration from Asra's outfit and Sarah's from Labyrinth. I shorted the mask so you could still see her expressions, I do like the full face mask though
