You may be as interested as you like, I would never stop or discourage such a thing. For more than a general summary, however, you will need to ask me actual questions.

I am an alchemist, specifically Lead Senior Researcher. Our laboratory leads the known world in understanding of potionry, the art of combining ingredients in different and particular ways to achieve an ever expanding catalogue of magical and etherical effects.

Sometimes a potion is acid! Or something different yet functionally the same sort of problem. Changes nothing, really. That is what safety precautions are for.

Ah, that was you! I admit, there are many sciences where that statement is as right as ninety degrees, but you wouldn’t make it far in potionry with that attitude.

Research Note:

“Well maybe they did it wrong” is not a robust enough basis to perform an experiment which has already been performed numerous times with demonstrated and widely acceptable results.

Additionally, medical leave is a larger drag on research progress than can be justified by the possibility that they DID do it wrong.

🔺 + If you could make a pet out of anything, what would it be?

I am not particularly interested in the responsibility of caretaking another living creature, and I don't think it would be fair to a pet if I kept them just for the alchemical ingredients they could produce, so honestly, I'll pass.

I don't dream particularly frequently, but there is one dream I've had three times throughout my life where I am shopping for an increasing number of frivolous objects. Nothing exciting, but weird that I've dreamt it thrice.
